Very knowledgeable on the subject so will thoroughly explain any questions you may have during the lecture. He has a thick accent but wasn't hard to understand him. Many will say that attendance isn't mandatory but it's truly a big help. He uses some of the questions from the online homework on tests, lots of studying is crucial for this class.

Not a good professor, he just copies table from the text book and presents them to the class in a rush. You also have to write a 30 paper for his class.

This professor is excellent. I took his class for econometrics. The material in this class is hard but he explains it clearly and his lectures are interesting. There are 3 exams, the first one is the hardest. The paper is hard so dont save it for the last minute. Just study the textbook and attend class regularly and do the homeworks.

This material is not easy to understand if you are not going to put in any effort and that does not matter on who you take. Professor Paizis tries to make this class as easy as he can and tries to make the exams easy as well. If you attend class it makes studying and understanding the material 10x easier. He is one of the best professor at QC.

Professor Paizis seems very scary at the begging, but really he is a really caring great professor, who just wants all his students to do well! His tests are a little difficult but he curves. You don't have to show up for class because a lot of it is straight from the text book but going really benefits because he explains the material clearly.

Prof. Paizis has a really thick accent, but he's really nice. All his lectures are taken out of the textbook, but takes attendance each class. Exams are easier if you study using the questions from the online homework assignments, but you should definitely know the basics. There are also curves for the exams.

YOU MUST READ THE TEXTBOOK TO PASS THIS CLASS. 3 Exams and a group paper. Professor Paizis grades the exams very fairly that there is no need for a curve in the class. Show up to class take, take notes, read textbook three days before exam and you will do well. He wants everyone to pass his class. Exams are straightforward from textbook and notes.

Disregard the negative reviews he is a great professor. He gives online hws which are usually due Fridays or Sundays. He explains the material well in a very straight-forward manner. Has an accent and harsh tone but that does not interfere with his explanations. Attendance isn't required but is needed to understand the material.

TERRIBLE. Listen, dont do it. Such a hard class and he makes it so boring. He just talks, does not teach. Everyone literally - Failed the first two exams. He does not do examples, does not curve, does not offer extra credit, nothing. No Review sheets for exams, no class breaks. Literally an hour of straight information he lectures into you.

for econometrics take the first few chapters VERY seriously. textbook isn't organized and he talks fast so take notes. hire a tutor for his class because its HARD. do hw on eViews if you have to but also manually to understand the concept and formulas. and finally dedicate a minimum of 2 hours on each chapter. follow my advice and you wont suffer.

This is my first time leaving a review on any professor. First off, he is very challenging, but in a I cant wait to go to class type of challenging. He makes you actually want to learn the material and also is a great lecturer. Very thorough and concise and an all around great guy.

I do not recommend him as a Professor bc he just reads over PPT slides. He also uses MS Paint to explain concepts which can be very hard to follow. You must read the textbook thoroughly and ask questions if you don't understand... but usually it's just more confusing when he explain. His exams were tough. The class avg was very low (C & C+ range)

He is an amazing professor, definitely knows his stuff. Tries his best to explain if you do not understand. He has a thick accent sometimes sounds like he is upset or mean BUT IS NOT. He is very nice. Class is based on only 3 tests -- MUST STUDY. Tests are hard but you leave his class knowing the material.

Do NOT take. His exams are multiple choice and he just uses ppt which is basically taken off the textbooks. His grade is ONLY based off of three grades. His accent will throw you off.
