Not a very nice woman. Talks down to students as if they were professional artists when the class is made up of a majority of students taking the class as an elective or gen-ed requirement. Also doesn't take ANY excuse for missed classes (personal, medical emergency, etc). Had us make up a class finals week all because we had a snow day one class.

Nice relaxing atmosphere for an elective. She explains everything clearly & helps U individually. You don't need to be Picasso but if U R your drawings can be even more awesome. This course could have been boring but she gave us lots of cool stuff to draw so give it a try.

Just show up & do the work - no homework unless U don't finish in class. She VERY NICE & explains how 2 make your drawing awesome. Lots of different stuff to draw so it's NOT boring. My friends liked her a lot.

She is honestly really rude in a subtle way. Lots of backhanded compliments and her "critiques" are pretty harsh for an intro course. Half the time the atmosphere is tense bc students don't respect her, and I don't blame them. I absolutely love to draw but she makes me dread art and it shows in my work. Take another prof if one is available

WORST TEACHER I EVER HAD.. She thinks everyone is a pro artist meanwhile it is an intro class. She doesn't work with you if you have to miss class for any reason, even if its important. VERY ANNOYING and class atmosphere is dreadful. I hated going to class every week. If you have to take a art elective, take anything else BUT this class and teacher

One drawing per class so no homework unless you didn't finish. Relaxing atmosphere & I DID like the variety of music. Projects were inspiring & really taught me. She was encouraging & very fair. Go to class, do each drawing & you'll pass. My opinion - she was excellent for an intro course.

If you attend class & finish your drawing there is no homework. She is VERY fair because you can improve your drawing grade after the critique. We drew lots of cool stuff and I liked the relaxing atmosphere. Would take another course with her.

I found her to be a very hard grader for a intro class. She treated us like we were all serious art majors, which none of us were. I dreaded this class every week. You draw boring things, and she plays classical music which just made me want to fall asleep.
