By far my favorite course at Molloy. Lectures were very interesting and the tests are not hard if you study. She is very funny and classes were never boring.

Professor Guarcello has been one of my favorite professors at Molloy so far! She attempts to make class interesting and informative everytime so you're never bored. Throughout the semester you have 3 tests and 1 film analysis paper . She always reviews for the tests so you will know exactly what will be on it!

Comment:

Best professor I've ever had. Lectures are amazing and she loves hearing from the students. She tries to relate to the students to make class more interesting. She shows lots of informational videos as well. All her notes are on canvas so if you just listen in class and pay attention you'll definitely pass. 3 tests all year and a film analysis.

Best Psych professor I've taken at molloy. Amazing lectures with informational videos shown frequently. 3 tests all year and a film analysis. She gives study guides for each test and the class before the test she tells you exactly what is on it. If you study and show up for the class you will pass. She involves the students to makes lecture fun

Comment:

An absolute gem - I've taken three of her classes. She is super nice, respectful, and funny. Usually 3 tests and one final paper (is usually a film analysis) and a few quick assignments, so not a work-intensive professor. You do need to study hard for her tests though, they seem easy because her classes are a breeze but the tests are tricky.

I took Clinical and Counseling with her. She had a lot of stories and made it relatable. We only had three tests there were some questions that threw me off but I still managed to pass even though I did not put as much focus into it. She posted all of her notes online which was good

did not use textbook she "required" once all semester, rarely any homework, very informational power points and packets handed out and straightforward exams ( you can find all info in PP's and packets), only one paper for the final exam. Very hilarious but often gets sidetracked, besides that she was a great teacher when she was on the subject.

Prof. Guarcello is a brilliant woman but it's not the most serious class. She is easily sidetracked but when she does lecture she is thorough and clear. I would not recommend taking if you are very serious about pysch, but it is a more fun and laid back class that doesn't take too much effort.

She's amazing! You definitely need to pay attention to the notes, but everything is always on lionsden. She gives the funniest examples to explain the notes and every class was a pleasure. I'd take any class she teaches.

Dr. Guarcello became 1 of my favorite professors (and people) during my experience at Molloy. She was an amazing educator and person and made me even more interested in clinical. She's a wealth of knowledge, absolutely hilarious, and a bit nuts, which comes through in her teachings. Anyone who takes her courses will NOT be disappointed!!!
