Comment:

Dr. Dexter was very passionate and made the class very fun to attend; she's definitely one of my favorite professors. I read the book and prepared for pop quizzes/tests and received an A. The class is easy at first, but becomes more difficult once you have to remember the dates. As long as you read and take very detailed notes you will do fine.

Dr. Dexter is a little kooky, but nice and she clearly loves what she teaches. I worked the hardest in her class out of any of 18 credits - in fact I spent 80% of my time studying for her class. Straight memorization of images and accompanying lecture info for tests. I got a solid A, but I got the sense that many people passed with Cs and Ds.

She's nice, her tests and quizzes are hard! I should never have to study so much for a div. A course. You have to have amazing memory she takes no mercy. Come on time or you will miss a pop quiz (which she gives for the first 3/4 minutes of class).

Roman Lit. in English sounds boring but its an easy A if you read every night because more than likely you will have a quiz the next day. I did not read at first and I regret it now, but I got an A in the paper which is very important. And participate, sit in the front , and make sure she knows your name.

I loved Dr. Dexter. She was so sweet and kind of dorky but it was funny. She was a little OD with her "pop" quizes and the test were a little hard, but if your good at memorization then you will be fine. Art can be boring at times but I didnt mind having that class. If you need a Divion A you should take Classical Art with Dexter

If you don't like reading daily or have a problem studying habitually, this is not a class you'll do well in. It's quite simple. Personally, the subject matter was very interesting and Dr. Dexter knows it all extremely well. She's kind of corny, but very sweet and pleasing. She brightened my mornings with her jokes, and yes she is a smartass lol.

I loved this lady! She is such a smartass, and she makes these corny jokes early in the morning which some people didnt really like, but I thought she was hilarious. You DEF HAVE to study and DEF be on time/early for class cuz she does give quizzes all the time, and even if u walk in late, you get a 0. Fun Div A course, just STUDY!!!

She is very passionate about the subject matter. She also finds herself to be hilarious, & she def made me laugh daily. She LOVES pop quizzes & gives them almost daily. You MUST keep up, attend EVERY class, & write down EVERYTHING she says. She is very sweet & pathetically dorky. I'd recommend this class, but expect to STUDY!!!

Classical art, she is a great teacher, willing to help. The subject material is not very interesting but she isn't the type of professor that is monotonous and makes it even MORE boring than what it already is. She's nice too. She gives pop quizzes so you have to stay on top of the material and the tests aren't that easy, you def. have to study

She is ez person to like. But for her tests she expects great detail. You basically have to repeat EVERY fact she mentions in lectures for the significant section to earn an a. I got an A in her class but it took so much time and effort. If you have a full load don't take the course.

Professor Dexter is the coolest teacher in the world. She is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable in her field. She is a fun teacher and gets work done. Do your part, and you'll do excellently. She makes learning Latin fun, easy and beneficial to your life. Bona doctor est. :)
