Chuck's a very nice man. Classes are often relaxed and enjoyable. Too much talking and you will get in trouble, but for the most part it's fun to just listen to your iPod and have studio time. I wouldn't say he's a tough grader, just discerning. As long as you try and make improvements then you'll do fine!

He's a nice guy, but very strickt and a hard grader on the projects. He tells you one thing, and changes his mind the next time. He doesnt see where students are coming from and thinks everyone should follow his idea of artwork. Thats not how it works in the art world!!!

This rating is for the sculpture taken with Chuck. He is a good guy and a great artist. Being this is an upper level course you pretty much get assignment and due dates.. not a lot of intrustuction, which is fine, you should have learned that in 3-D. The reason Chuck wants to here negatives about a project is so the artist can grow from it.

Overall a nice guy. A lot of still life and a lot of charcoal. (which can get kind of mundane) For a good grade, don't talk a lot. He'll move you to a different area. He can be kinda jumpy too. (Which makes a person nervous when he's looking over your shoulder going "mhmm" at your work). All said and done, it's worth taking him as an intructor.

A very nice guy, I felt comfortable approaching him with questions. Despite the fact that he's a sculptor, he knows a lot about drawing, and I learned a lot. But...I wouldn't recommend him if you hate working in charcoal. About 3/4ths of the semester was spent working with charcoal.

Chuck is a very nice guy. The way to get a good grade is do all the homework and put some effort into it. I got a B and didn't hand in all homework. Make sure to put in the effort and he will recognize the effort.

Absolute jerk- would attempt to get the whole class to tell people what they had done wrong with a project, wouldnt let up until someone said something bad...never good.
