You will truly learn to become a better writer in Dolce's class. His lectures are very informative. Professor Dolce is nothing short of amazing. He accepts late work, he gives you the outline for the final on the first day, and his feedback is the best I've ever received. Even after the online transition, he is always available for his students.

He's one of the best professors I had in college. I took him both for English 115 and 116 and got an A on both classes. He gives great feedback when revising essays, his lectures are very engaging, and he truly cares about his students. There are quizzes in class about the readings which are usually two questions long. You won't regret choosing him

Professor Dolce is by far my favorite English teacher to date. His lectures were really interactive and energetic, making the two and a half hour long class breeze by. For the most part, he sets you up for success by having the class as a whole brainstorm evidence and topics for our essays. Semi-daily quizzes are easy points if you read!

His class is pretty easy, just make sure you do the work (it doesn't matter if you think is crappy), and he'll give you very good feedback about it, also make sure you do the Quizzes every single class that are based on the readings from the HW. Overall, his class is fun and easy and it really does help you become a better writer.

Professor Dolce is an amazing English teacher. By far the best one Ive had. He gives a lot of opportunities to fix your essays as well as great feedback before you actually turn it in. He does give you pop quizzes at the beginning of class which relate to the content in previous class. If you do the readings you will most likely pass his class.

Hands down one of the best professors Ive had. He actually cares about his students and their progress. He sits down with his students and gives constructive feedback. Obviously do the readings, essays, and homework and youll do well, utilize Occams razor. I really enjoyed the class, had a little bittersweet feeling at the end of it.

Do yourself a favor and take his class. I am not lying, he is the best English professor. You will end up loving Shakespeare and learning a lot about literature. If you are looking for an easy A, this class is not for you. However, if you are willing to work super hard in order to strengthen your writing skills, he is the right one.

The BEST English professors!! He is super inspirational, funny, supportive and accesible outside of class. I ended up liking Shakespeare because of him and this comes from someone who is not a big fan of classic literature. There is a considerable amount of homework and quizzes almost every class, but if you work hard you can definetly get an A.

I personally found this class to be A LOT of work. He assigns readings from shakespear books (3 books in the semester) AND essays (4 total) AND readings from 2 other little books on the daily and tbh aint nobody got time for that. (Usually teachers assign one at a time) He also yells way too much.

This class is actually really easy, but time consuming. You'll need time to prep and write your papers. I like this class because he relates a lot of Shakespeare to real life situations and the best thing I've learned so far is: Don't use emotions to deal with your problems, instead use logic. Literally, this helped me so much in life so far.

He is a good teacher he goes over the prompts so many times, like everyday until paper is due. There are 5 essays. He doesnt do time writings and his class can get hard because he assigns a lot of reading from different books but honestly it just teaches you how to manage your time and thats his point. Hes good I highly recommend!

Easy Class if you dedicate time. The professor always states the following: "Is it hard? NO . It just takes time". If you dedicate time to the class its an easy A.

You have a quiz almost everyday but he tells you what to expect on the quiz, which is only 2 questions. The books he assigns can be found on sparknotes and will help you pass the quiz without even having to read the whole book. He grades your 4 papers pretty easy and your final is just a vocab test with 44 words.

I had him for both 115 & 116, he was great for both! He teaches the material thoroughly + explains step by step what he expects in essays. Definitely a lot of work, but he is supportive & meets with you during class to go over the essays you write. There are quizzes each class on the readings, but they're easy.

Nice guy and helps perfect punctuation and basic format of essays. Fairly easy class, only complaint is that the emphasis on minor details about format could be tedious. Quizzes most classes, and a total of 4 essays that you get about 3 weeks to work on. Professor is very generous about time and understanding of students.
