Comment:

She is super sweet and she knows what she is talking about. Her lectures are entertaining and she uses real-life examples. However, that won't help you with the exams. She only has two exams that are worth 300 points each. If you don't read the book on your own time and study several days before the exams you will fail. Do not take her.

Comment:

Dr. Horton made me laugh throughout her class. Be prepared to take a lot of notes, but if you do, they will pay off. Plus if she notices, she will comment. Gives great feedback on lots of things. Don't be on your phone though! She is laidback and easy to talk to. Plus she is pretty wise so she tells lots of stories and knows a bunch! Attendance!

Dr. Horton is a good professor who gives students a twist in learning. She give practical advice and uses real life as examples. She is not stuck in her ways and does not expect students to be stuck. She wants you to read so that you can participate in lectures. Her classes are always interactive. She comes to class with a positive attitude. Take!

Dr. Horton is the best teacher that you can take at Tarleton. She is so sweet and if you show up to her classes and put forth effort you will pass. She genuinely cares about every one of her students. I would highly suggest to anyone.

Dr. Horton is so nice and really wants her students to succeed. She offers lots of extra credit for final exams and allows you to turn in speech outlines early for bonus points too. She allows you to miss 4 classes a semester before your grade drops, and she almost always takes attendance.

I would not recommend taking this professor, I was going to have to have her two semesters in a row but I went to the department head and made it clear I would do whatever I could to NOT take her again. The class was terrible, I did not learn anything. She was super tough at grading and not organized at all.

Great teacher! Extremely nice and likely to ask you how you are if your down and out. Very flexible with you on assignments. Don't procrastinate and be resposible enough to do what she asks and you'll do fine.

You have to study for the tests. She can be a little absent minded when it comes to getting a review to you on time. But the good thing is you only have to give 2 5 minute speeches and 2 mini speeches!! She's a very enjoyable teacher, very fun and interesting. I had an awesome time in her class!!

Mrs Horton is a good teacher if you follow what shes saying with your book. All her tests are from the book but she doesnt use it in class whatsoever. Shes late because she has a family and a life and lives a ways away, give her some slack people. Shes a good teacher just gets frustrated easily.

Cristi is really a sweet lady and she is very passionate about her topics. However, this is a typical "survey" class that students are forced to take and otherwise have very little interest in. Her tests are straight-forward, but you must read the book. She can be un-organized, but she's fair and she will take the time to any all your questions.

Horrible teacher! She gets frustrated WAY to easily. She pushes assignments back but then crams them into the shortest amount of time because of her poor planning. No review for the test, even though the test is over the book which we never used. She rolls her eyes at you if you ask a question that appears to be wasting her time. Take someone else.
