(Online class)If you don't care about feedback or grades then this instructor is okay. But I am paying good money for this class and I expect feedback and grades from the instructor in a timely manner. I shouldn't have to wait 3,4, or 5 weeks then email the teacher begging to have grades posted. Group project needed feedback from the instructor.

He didn't even show up to class but a handful of times. Our TA ended up teaching, grading and taking attendence the whole time. While the grade was easy to get, I am a CIS major so i needed to understand the material. He was probably the worst professor I've ever gotten

First, understand that he is a 30 year proffesor at Tarleton. He was the Dean of the College of Business before he stepped down a few years ago. Show him respect. He is not always clear, but he is extremely fair. Talk to him if you have a problem. He is laid back and likes to have fun. He will make changes to help out. If you have a idea, tell him.

His motto - Keep the students in a state of balance where the level of inspiration should ALWAYS be greater than the level of stress, at any given time. Easy to work with. You do your part and he'll come out of his way to help you out. He knows what he's doing. But don't think that A is the only grade he knows to give. A great professor.

I have to agree that Collins is better at theory than hands on. Still I think he is a great teacher and I look forward to having him in some of my future courses.

Very good theory teacher, not good hands on/concrete ideas. doesn't explain things good, wants you to already know what the class is about. very easy classes until last year when something changed now he is very hard, stay on his good side or it won't be an easy semester
