Comment:

Good professor who keeps everyone in the conversation and rarely lets people drift off. He will ask a lot of questions to specific people so you can't really check out while in class. He also doesn't allow any electronics unless you're using them for the book. I learned better in the class because of the way he taught, but 4 days/week it was a lot.

David Julseth is a wonderful person & professor. I've learned so much & feel more confident in Spanish after his classes. The homework is online and really helpful. All of the tests have study guides and the compositions have re-writes. I've thoroughly enjoyed his Spanish courses & would highly recommend taking him, he's amazing!!

Comment:

Dr. Julseth is so sweet. He can sometimes seem flustered, but he's genuinely such a great teacher who wants you to do well. He is so willing to help and so kind. Whenever you are struggling he will reach out and ask if he can help. I am terrible at Spanish, but have managed to do fairly well in the class (Like B, B+). His tests are tough, so study!

Dr. Julseth is so passionate about spanish and his students! He genuinely wants you to do well and will help you out whenever you need it. You do 3 in class writing exams but he lets you do corrections for each one and you get a study guide for everything! He really gives you a great opportunity to pass his class.

Dr. Julseth is the worst professor I have EVER had. He goes way too fast, only speaks in spanish and does not care if you don't understand. He is so passive aggressive when you ask questions, he doesn't let you ask in english, and barely answers them anways. Do whatever you can to not take his class.

Dr. Julseth is amazing! He is so helpful and is really passionate about teaching. There is a fair amount of homework, and it is always super helpful. If you do the work, you'll make an A.

Dr. Julseth was a really good Spanish teacher. I definitely learned a lot in that class, and he was very helpful. He does go pretty fast, so you have to work hard to keep up. He is such a nice guy and a very good teacher, so I would recommend taking him for elementary Spanish.

He is a great teacher! He understands when students just don't get it and is willing to go over everything multiple times. I would highly suggest you take him because I hear other Spanish teachers are not good at all.

Terrible. Counted you as absent if you had to leave early. Got mad when you asked him questions in English. Kind of snippy. I would not reccomend taking with him

Great teacher! Homework is done online and he pretty much gives you the test when you do the study guide. In class activities are pretty fun. As an example, we divided into groups and predicted the future of different individuals in Spanish. It became really stupid, but it was fun. Take him because he makes it enjoyable.

Dr. J is a great teacher! He is really laid back but is a good teacher. All of the homework is done online. Tests are usually pretty easy because he gives you a study guide and some stuff comes from the homework. He doesn't make you feel awkward in class, if you get an answer wrong he helps you. Highly recommended!
