Was very rude and hateful if you didn't understand the concepts he was teaching. He yelled at me after class one day in front of other students because I didn't understand the subject matter that was taught that day.

I asked a question after class and Dr. Holloway laughed at me and berated me for not knowing the definition of a colligative property as he called out to the class slowly leaving if anyone could please inform me of what a colligative property is. He specializes in sarcastic snide remarks to those he dislikes.

Genius. Knows his subject very well. And because he teaches well, he expects a lot from the students. I did horrible in his class, but it was definitely my own fault. He was the best teacher. I was just a horrible student.

Best teacher i have ever had! I had no understanding of chemistry before his classes. He was tough but it forced me to be a good student and with his help i passed all my chemistry classes and am forever thankfull!!!

Excellent teacher. His lessons were clear, but fast. If you got a bad grade on a lab report or test, he would write more on it than you, correcting your mistakes. Was willing to take the time to help any student in his class, but will rip apart any lazy student. You will learn a lot from him, but expect to put a ton of work in his classes.
