Such a good professor. Really makes the topic interesting. He always finds ways to engage the students. He does call on students randomly a lot but its not a big deal if you have no idea whats going on. He wants the best for everyone. There are 3 exams that determine your grade, but he prepares you for them. Would definitely recommend him.

Awesome class! Professor Lardie's lecture is excellent. He has a great personality and know just how to encourage students to participate in his class without making them feel uncomfortable. His syllabus are clear and easy to follow. He uses a text book and provides lots of examples and very detail notes for the exams.

Comment:

Runs his class very efficiently. He goes over chapter notes and chapter homework. Tends to call on people randomly but its never uncomfortable and it just gets you to participate a little. Super funny and caring guy. Definitely take his class.

Gave clear notes during lecture. If you show up to class you wont need the book. Nice guy, not too serious. Dropped one test at end of class- so if you got A's on all your text the final was optional!

Comment:

Lardie is one of my favorite professors. Financial acct is a breeze if you show up to class & study a bit. Tells you everything that'll be on the exam and allows you to double your highest exam score instead of taking a final. He's also pretty funny and teaches us valuable life lessons.

I only have Prof. Lardie as an advisor. My major is general studies geared towards nursing. I have never taken an accounting class but I would definitely take it with him. He is funny and so nice and genuinely cates about his students. One of the most incredible professors at this school. Highly recommended.

Awesome Guy. I really enjoyed his class. Made a dry subject like accounting fun. He even took our class out to eat instead of having a final (highest grade counted twice). Take his class you won't regret it.

Great Adviser and Professor. Took Financial Planning and current in Intermediate I, So, looking forward to Intermediate II in the fall. He makes the class enjoyable, understandable and relate-able. Positively the best Professor I have had since attending colleges from 2010.4863

Professor Lardie is the accounting bigwig at Tunxis. Take all of his classes and go to all of his advising appointments if you are an accounting major. I did, and I transferred to Central as a full junior. His intermediate accounting I&II notes and tests are worth their weight in gold at Central.

I had absolutely no interest in accounting before this class - and I still don't, but Professor Lardie made it very easy to learn, which is all I could really ask for. His exams are very easy, and he goes over the homework every class. For an accountant, he has a sense of humor and makes time go by pretty quickly. Take him if you can!

Lardie is a good intro accounting teacher. He knows his stuff. The notes taken in class are very helpful when reviewing for his exams(not that they're difficult). Homework is optional but definitely helps you understand the material. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Easy A if you rock the first 2 tests. (4 tests total, 100 possible total)

Lardie is an excellent teacher, he makes his class very enjoyable, and very easy. Lardie is always willing to help, he actually didn't even make us take a final exam; instead he doubled our highest quiz grade. Also, he really knows what he's doing.
