Definitely one of the worst professors I've ever had. I don't know if it was because it was an online class, but she seemed robotic and her feedback was always copy-paste. Her exams asked questions about articles that were NEVER assigned, and some could only be read with a paid subscription. Expectations unclear but easy A. WOULDN'T recommend tho

Dr. Crawford is clearly passionate about the topic, but her class is so unorganized it hurts the students. We only breached actual sociological concepts & relations to the topic at around week 11 (out of 15). Topics on quizzes (online) referenced papers she never told us about. It's an easy A, but not a rewarding one.

Class was poorly structured, expectations were super unclear, professor was often unavailable for feedback and vague. The reading material included obnoxious listicles from buzzfeed and know your meme pages. Don't take her if you like to think outside of the box; she penalizes you if you don't explicitly state what box your thinking falls into.

I loved both of her classes I've taken with her. She is to the point and very helpful if you reach out to her. If your good with participation you're bound to get an A.

Dr. Crawford is a wonderful person, but she can be a frustrating professor to deal with if you are used to more structured classes. If you have her, make an effort to get on her good side, she'll grade you better for it. Also, she values creative, personal input over analytical scientific input. Be careful.

Very easy. Each week there was an article assigned to read & we began each class with a discussion. Everything is mostly opinion based, you can honestly glance over the topic and show up good to go. Tests were just us reciting a couple facts about a person & our group members signing off on it.100% every time. Downside, she was pretty unorganized.

alot of work! 10 discussions per week every week, an individual paper(4-6pg) and a group paper(6-8pg). she makes the students ask any questions that people might have, and if she answers your question its very snippy and mean. only lets you communicate through mycourses for the group project NOT RECOMMENDED if your not that major!

one of the worst. the weekly discussions are easy because they are all opinion questions and are due the same each week but she makes you do 10 per week,an individual assignment as well as a group assignment and she will change groups whenever she wants its very confusing. There is alot of work for this class so if its not your major DONT TAKE IT.

Worst professor I've ever had. Her assignments are vague, unclear, and copied straight from various websites. She didn't provide any feedback on assignments. Extremely unorganized. Her syllabus was made up of about 8 different links on MyCourses. Felt the need to specify that sources needed to come from "INTERNET websites". Run away from her class!

ONE OF THE BEST! I didn't want to take her course based on previous ratings, but once the course started I had no idea what everyone was talking about. EASY A! EVERYTHING is clear. You just have to read the syllabus before the course starts!! Work for the whole course is easy. All 10 wks of discussions can be knocked in an hour. GREAT Professor!

Absolutely terrible. Had her for the online class and it was horrible. Nothing is explained clearly, including due dates. If you ask a question she'll shoot you down and embarrass you with a snippy comment. You don't learn anything because tests are word-for-word from the review guide. You'll pay $300 for the required (and quite useless) supplies.

Worst professor I've ever had at RIT. I had her a couple years ago now, and she STILL stands out as the worst professor I've had, so much so that I felt it necessary to come back and leave this warning for the rest of you.

She talks down to students and does not hesitate at the chance to embarrass anyone. Very little concrete material is actually covered. She goes for the wow factor and tries to entertain which really consists of her wasting an entire mandatory class showing pictures of prince alberts and ornate tattoos. You don't want to take a class with her, ever.

Worst professor I have had to date at RIT. Due dates and expectations are not clear and she uses 20 different fonts in course outline for online course. Very confusing. I DO NOT recommend taking Sociology with this professor.

Run while you can! She is not a good teacher. She think she knows everything. She doesn't give out A's. All exams are from her CD and book. If you don't have them you fail the exam. Half of the grade is group work. She is bigoted, mean, not helpful at all, her schedule is confusing and doesn't sync with her due dates. DON'T TAKE A CLASS WITH HER.
