Get prepared to write . He does give you the chance to fix your mistakes so you can earn a better grade. There is a group assignment and presentation so be prepared for that, other than that just submit your homework on time and fix your errors and you'll do fine.

He is a pretty snarky guy but he makes a boring class interesting. He isn't afraid to call out stupid questions and if you are offended by a conservative, don't take his class. He gives feedback on papers and you can redo the assignments. Show up to class and don't miss turning in assignments and you'll do fine!

Jantz does give pretty good feedback to papers and is pretty flexible if you talk to him but he can also be extremely condescending. The class isn't too hard but he makes it long and boring. Not a clear outline for how your grade is calculated either, I thought I had an A the whole time as I completed all the assignments but he gave me a B.

I will sum up my experience with one example: he gave a 20% to a cover letter that I got two jobs with. That's all you need to know. Do not take him, take 407A with another professor or at CSN. Not worth your money and time.

Prof Jantz is one of my favorite professors so far. He's funny and also a great teacher. Fairly easy class if you do the work like he expects. I would definitely take him again!

He is super funny and makes a long lecture feel short. He makes sure he has everyone's full attention. This class is so easy. There's a vocabulary test every week and the words are so easy. He assigns a paper every 2 weeks. Extra credit is using the vocab words in your essays correctly. I have 102%. Just pay attention and do your work.

I dread going to his class. He spews his personal propaganda and political views. If the paper is not what he would have written, good luck.

Super easy class, he lets you redo all the assignments until you get the grade you want. He has some political opinions you might not like, ignore them, he means well. There's a group project you have to do but he also lets you redo it, dont bother buying the book, the quizzes online are easy, its common sense

This is not necessarily a hard class, but it isn't a fly-by thing. He allows you to redo each assignment with his notes and advice, so as long as you are willing to go back and fix everything, you should have no problem passing.

I did learn in this class. At the beginning, it was challenging to deal with his harsh comments. I made an effort to communicate with him, and It was the turning point for me in his class. I earned an A in the end. He has a different ideology than most Professors. If you follow his instructions, do the assignments before due date, you will be fin

If you take him be prepared for sarcastic, harsh comments on your writing. Don't take it personally. Seems like he gives 1 point on the first draft no matter what. Get his comments, revise and resubmit, then you get actual points. Do yourself a favor and read Key Documents for Success section for each assignment.

Mediocre at best. I do not recommend this professor. If you actually want to learn business writing, take it with someone else. He will only teach about politics and you learn about his societal views on life.

So far he is the only professor I've known who doesn't care about the length of writings. Another thing is the assignments on web campus are so confusing ( Professor Jantz didn't make it). Luckily he made his own guideline and it made the whole course so much clearer. He reviews every assignment and returns it. You can fix it and turn it in again.

I actually did learn in this class. Prof. Jantz gives you a 2 week period to turn in your work for credit. If you turn in an assignment on, or before the real due date, he will grade it and actually edit it so you can resubmit it and get a perfect score. He's overly sarcastic and gives too much of his own opinion on things that do not concern class

Easy A if you do the work. There a lot of assignments but you get several chances to fix and resubmit as long as you submit by due date. Group project is a lot but easy A there too if your group does the work. No midterm or final.

He's a good teacher. applies business structure into the class with a bit of humor. Once you get over him calling on you during class, he has a lot of great lessons to teach. The homework is easy, and he gives you a ton of time to make sure you turn it in. He also gives you feedback on assignments to resubmit for a better grade.

If you want an easy A, take this class. He gives out 2-3 weekly assignments, but they only take 5 minutes to finish. He returns your assignments with his feedback on them and lets you redo them for a better grade. Everything about the class is easy. No exams. Just mute his annoying political propaganda, do the assignments & you'll do fine.

The only good thing about this guy is that he lets you redo assignments, but other than that, this guy lives in a bubble. I wouldn't mind that he is super anti-Obama, but the fact that he denies stuff like Climate Change is beyond irritating for me. But then again, maybe that's why he's an English teacher/driving instructor.

Pretty easy class. Do the extra credit and study the vocab words each week. Make sure you do all 4 papers or else you won't pass. Don't skip because he checks attendance. If you like Obama don't take this class because he is very anti Obama.

He presents material in a way that is easy to understand gives helpful examples and gives helpful feedback. He also lets you correct your errors with his feedback for credit. His goal does not seem to be teaching you English however. That takes a backseat to teaching how bad he perceives the democratic party to be.
