As a teacher he is very difficult, but as a person He is amazing and will help you with almost anything. I think that students here are used to the teacher giving you the answer when they have a problem or get stuck, but Dr. Woods will show you how to solve the problem and leave the answer up to you.

At first I hated the man. He demands perfection. But, I learned. After the class was over (J term..AAHHH) I knew I could handle anything. He pushed me and I am a much better student for it.

He is a very tough teacher who will challenge you with the content as well as with tough grading. One of the best teachers I had at Spring Arbor. Toughness isn't a liability. He sometimes seems full of himself; however, looking past that he is excellent at what he does which is challenge and do research.
