Comment:
Dr. Santi's lectures are amazing, plain and simple. He explains everything so elegantly that I forgot to take notes many times. The lab (to include pre-labs, lab performances, and reports) consumed more time than my other 12 credits combined. Be prepared to spend 20 hours a week on average just for this class. You learn a lot, but omg exhausting.

Dr. Santi is one of the best professors and always there to help you. If you are interested in Power Electronics, he is the one who you need to talk to. This class is hard and time consuming but if you go to his lectures you will be ready for the labs. Don't miss any lecture because he gives really good information. I learned lot from this class.

Dr. Santi is great teacher. He made all concepts clear to students and many useful topics are covered by 572 class. This class helps me learn lot of real-time applications in power electronics. It is the best course in electrical engineering in USC. There will be homework every week but these homework helped me a lot to understand concepts.

Comment:
Actual class is not that bad. Make sure to take notes and study the practice tests and previous exams for the 2 exams. Lab is very laborious. Usually had to come in outside of lab time to finish. Extensive lab reports are due every week as are pre-labs. It is a difficult class but you will learn a ton of practical applications and not just theories

everyone always thinks he is hard, but i had him for electronics, and thought he was very good. I received an uncharacteristic A in that class. Explains everything very well. and says "OK.. so" a lot.

Comment:
Santi has a very thick northern Italian accent. It's obvious that he know what he's doing and that you do not. VERY condescending. Don't ask any questions and hope you get a good TA. Oral exams can be killers, too.
