Honestly, do your webwork and quizzes online. A lot of people fail because they don't do that but it is majority of your grade. Also, his tests are exactly like his review problems so make sure you study those before you take his tests.

Q was awesome. He is the most down to earth professor I have ever had. This class is definitely not easy, and he is a tough grader. Notes, notes and more notes. I went through about 1.5 notebooks for his class. Hint: color code your notes.

Great professor, clearly enjoys the subject and teaching it. Was very open to help. Would take again, however the class was all lecture format and the tests were HARD. Study and use his online resources (especially the old test for practice) and you will be fine. Great guy.

Professor Beckman was AWESOME! I recommend him to anyone who has no prior knowledge of econ. He is hilarious which makes the class fun for the long hours.

Professor Beckman was a cool guy, but the way he taught was not my styld of learning. I had a four hour long class with him, and the whole class period he lectured and took all the notes on the board. He never did group activities, or here let me try this and then you try. His test average in the class was roughly a 65%, Test was super hard.

Q Beckman is a great professor; absolute economic genius. I struggle with economics and had no clue going into Macro, but I made it out with an A. I am taking him again this semester for Micro because although I seemed to be lost a majority of the 4 hour lectures, he really does try his best to teach you the material. Economics is just difficult.

Definitely one of the harder classes Ive taken. He offers a lot of extra credit because of the difficulty of the class. I would suggest to do as much of it as you can. His tests were extremely difficult, and I was lost pretty much the entire time he lectured. I got a good grade in the class, but I definitely worked harder for that A than anything.

He was an amazing professor. Tests were very hard though even if you study for them. The final is not cumulative, but there were 3 parts and not easy at all.

Q was an amazing professor! Took him for both Macro and Micro economics. Not an easy professor, but amazing lectures and great person to work with. Highly accessible both in and out of the classroom. Would give helpful homework helpers after you attempted the problems and useful test reviews. Highly recommend him if you want to learn the material.

Q Beckman is a great man. I took him for both of my econ classes. I pretty much failed all the exams and I put in effort. Show up to lecture even though they can drag on. Nothing but respect for him but the material itself is difficult, he really does try his hardest to make things easy to understand. I passed both classes. Just work hard.

His class is all lecture which was hard to focus for the 2 hour class. His exams are hard but he does supply you with exam studying material which help out a lot if you take the time to look at them. He's nice and funny but it was too hard to pay attention in his class since all he did was lecture.

All homework and quizzes are an easy A and he does offer chances for extra credit. The exams are filled mostly with information from his lectures so if you dont show up to class that often you will not do good on the exams. He is so nice and very good at explaining all of concepts.

At first, this course was really hard. Thankfully, he offers a lot of extra credit as it is a difficult course. The quizzes and homework are pretty much easy A's, however the tests are very difficult and not curved. Show up every day and you will get extra credit. I ended up with an A and had to really work for it. Beckman is a great guy overall.

Eric is very passionate about this subject. I worked my butt off in this class and still received a C-. The exams were VERY hard and so were the quizzes on Norton. Norton was awful, if you get 1/5 of a quiz question wrong, the whole question gets marked wrong. Eric is a really good teacher and his lectures are awesome.

Very passionate man. Loves economics. But all he does is lecture and his tests are so hard. Doesn't really take the time to get to know his students. Homework and quizzes are easy points. Everything else sucks. I cried because I didn't think I was going to pass. Might want to consider someone else.

He was probably my favorite teacher I ever had at Delta and I recommend him to anyone taking Econ. He truly cares how you do in his class and tries different methods to help you learn. The homework can sometimes be a struggle but he will help you through it. Because of his class, I ended up loving a subject I was terrified off before college.

I was terrified to take Econ because I didn't do so well in high school, but he made it easy to understand. He also had a great sense of humor. I had him for a night class that was four hours long, but his personality helped it go by fast. You have to attend class, it's mostly a lecture based class so if you skip then you won't know what's going on

Professor Beckman will give you plenty of opportunities to get an A in his class, but you'll have to work for it. Don't skip out on his lectures, don't sit on your phone in class, & DO the homework. He gives you past tests and plenty of notes to study from. 3 x 5 notecard to assist you on tests leaves no excuses. He's a good man, very passionate

His course requires reading the textbook, his on-line notes (up to 12 pages per chapter) and taking pages and pages of notes in class. The exams he creates are difficult to understand and answer correctly. I barely passed any of HIS exams. We were also required to use Sapling - which I continuously scored highly. He is not an effective instructor.

He dosen't explain things crystal clear down to students level of understanding. Lectures are boring and hard to follow because he has a hard time engaging and motivating students to learn. He gets mad when students are on their phones because they are bored but he doesn't try to change things up so students are motivated to learn and understand
