Comment:
This was Dr. Chan's first time teaching the course and she did an amazing job. Her notes were crystal clear and if you write down what she did on the board, you will be fine for exams. Homeworks can be confusing and the lab component did not add value to the course, but the 3D printing was pretty interesting.

Comment:
She definitely knows the material, but her teaching style is a tad dry. Material is presently clearly, but she jumps around just ever so slightly. She's not a bad professor, but she's not a great one either.

Comment:
She's condescending and a little rude in a backhanded sort of way. She expects a lot of previous knowledge out of everyone even though there are no pre-reqs. The weekly quizzes and homework rarely correlate to what was just taught in class that week. She clearly cares more about her research at this school that teaching.

a hard class, but she explains concepts well and is a fair grader. definately take mat 33 in the off semester (spring) if you can, since the class is much smaller and you'll prob do better
