best professor i have ever met! i took him for my first year seminar and would love to have him for every single class at bsc. Wish he would teach more of the classes offered.. also the work load is not too much and you learn a great deal of information! take his courses if you want a great grade/professor!!!

I'm going around rating all my professors from BSC as I am graduating in May. I took Vandenburgh a few years ago for Social Devience I believe the class was. Awesome class, awesome professor, very down to earth. Very intelligent but doesn't intimidate students, which makes his classes comfortable to take. A+ professor

If you are only taking it for a GER, it's the course/professor combo for you. He touched on key concepts and readings, used videos, and required a short paper. I think by presenting the material in a laid back fashion, people who only took it for a GER and gave the class low priority (I would assume many) actually learned something and passed.

I took this class simply because I took him before and knew I could get an A. If you need to fill up some credits, take this class. We had 6 papers and they were so easy. I finished them in maybe a half an hour and got B+s and As. Movies every week. No tests. Great guy, really funny. Would recommend just to fill some credits.
