He is the best professor in UCI! He is very nice. Midterms are not very hard, is very similar with the sample that he gave.

Comment:
Thickest accent to the point he is incoherent. Following his lectures is impossible unless you master the subject. Overall experience was overwhelming, barely explains the math of examples and the ones on the exam are so different and could never understand how to solve his problems. Memorize answers from previous tests is your best option.

Not to best lecturer, boring, and simply reads slides but theres no reason why anyone should get lower than a B in this class. Theres a huge curve, not to mention you get a cheat sheet, whole sheet of paper for midterms, two sheets for the final. He does random class participation, with online surveys once or twice a week, & EC is the evaluations.

Please steer clear of this course/professor. Lectures consist of just reading off ppt slides and are so boring (his hard-to-understand accent doesn't help either). Randomly runs Moblabs which he uses to check for attendance. The info on the slides is vague and the textbook is not all that better. Can bring a page of notes to midterms but are hard

He's a nice guy and the class is alright. Interesting topic, however he goes over the material in a bland way. Slideshows posted everyday and he just explains the slides in class. Tips: Review tests that he posts and tests from past years. He gives you 1 back and front cheat sheet. 2 midterms same format abt 38 questions, 1 final abt 50 questions.

This class is chill. He posts lectures so the only reason to attend lectures is to get participation points. The professor is chill and gives a nice curve. Test questions are very similar to the old tests he posts so be sure to study those. Not all the homework assignments are mandatory, but make sure you know how to do the problems.

You don't need to go to lectures cuz he just reads through his ppt during lectures. Very boring lectures but no homework

Lectures are not that interesting, but you can tell the professor means well. Tests are somewhat difficult, but he curves the class very nicely at the end. One cheat sheet was allowed on each of the midterms and two allowed on the final. Overall, not a terrible class or professor. Would take another class with him.

This is an extremely hard class! Even you studied for the test, you will still not get what is asking on the test. His lecture is unclear and no text book for you to study by yourself. The only good thing is you can bring one page hand write note, but it is not helpful.

Correction in my review right below: you're allowed *1 pg handwritten notes* for exams, not your entire notes. Sorry. Also, the 1st half of the class was the hardest. It gets better after the 1st midterm.

Serious communication issues. Powerpoint slides are all over the place with little to no explanation. Like others said, you can't understand him. The TA can only help you so much. Only positives: you can bring notes for exams and the cut-off for an A is 85%.

Very nice professor but unfortunately VERY difficult to understand. He has a thick accent and sometimes does not use complete sentences. There is no one textbook to study from at home. Discussions are helpful but too short to explain what the heck was going on in class. This is a disaster. I'm an A/B student but I question if I'll pass.

Such a HARD class! I studied lecture notes and sample exams before each test and I was still unable to understand midterms and final. The questions are hard and not clear. The material covered in these exams has nothing to do with the material in the sample exams. The only good thing is his grading scale: A-85%, B-73%, C-61%. I got a C-

I thought it was going to be a interesting class to take, but I ended up studying very hard, but not recieving the grade I wanted. His accent is horrible. If you can take behavior econ instead DO IT. TRY TO AVOID THIS CLASS!!

Not worth going to lecture. He literally just reads of off powerpoints with no additional information. You can do that at home. The tests are the type where one question is based off the answer of another question, so if you don't get one you're toast. It was an interesting subject and the slides are all online.

Well first of all the class is EXTREMELY boring. All he does is read his slides. The tests are all multiple choice, and the questions are weird. Didn't really learn anything in his class. If you want an easy B, take him, but you really need to work for an A. He has a strange straight scale system (>84=A, >71=B....etc)
