Stephen Ethe was my grandfather. He recently passed away, but he was one of the greatest man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Anyone would have been lucky to have him as a teacher, friend, or member of the family.

What a fun class! Dr. Ethe is hilarious and his knowledge is not just based on textbooks. Grade based on three tests of which one was a take-home. I loved going to this class. He is so laid back and therefore the class atmosphere was very relaxed. But make no mistake about it, he is one very, very, very intelligent professor. Highly recommended!

Awesome professor. He doesn't write notes, however his lectures aren't in the least bit boring and are easily to relate. He includes much student interaction in his classes. Very funny. Easy tests; all in essay form. Easy grader. Don't bother buying the textbook; he never uses it.
