Comment:
Professor Moody is a mediocre teacher, this class was just not the best option. The assignments are 90% group work and depends heavily on whether or not you are assigned with a good team. Her grading and assignment instructions can be very confusing, make sure to over clarify stuff with her if you are even slightly confused on something.

Professor Moody is probably the best professor you're going to get considering the group project aspect of most of her classes. I've take three classes with her and she structures her classes well, gives clear instructions, etc. Don't stress her classes or the group projects. They're easy - just don't miss discussions. Missing em will do damage.

Dr. M is quick to respond and gives good feedback. Group projects can be difficult if there is not equal contribution, but she grades individually and pays attention to participation and effort. Would take again.

It was packed pretty tightly because of summer but Dr. Moody was very understanding of the time constraints and even gave us an extra day to work on it. Easy class if your group isn't lazy, lots of discussions + 2 replies but they're mostly progress reports. Take a general editor role asap for an easier time. Highly suggest Discord over Groupme.

Course focuses on a group revision of substantial, real world client documents. Group selects client and documents.

Easy weekly discussions andor quizzes and a semester-long group project. Not bad if you're assigned to a good team. Take the course during fallspring; it's a lot of work to condense over short summer term. Moody was very helpful and understanding when someone in our group went MIA. Would take her again.

Very easy, once you get past the chore of finding your own "real world" client and documentation project. Everything is done in groups so if you have lame non contributors, this makes it hard. Seemed like everyone pretty much got As on everything. Not a very informative class but filled up the requirement painlessly.

Very easy class for the beginning of IDS at UCF. Just turn in the assignments by the due date and you'll get a 100 basically. Research paper at end is very lengthy, but attainable. I received a 98.9 in class for final grade.

She was very lenient on grading, as long as you participated in discussions and did what was required you got full credit. Course was very easy. At least one assignment due every week. One major research project towards the end of the course.

Awful professor! She contradicted herself over & over which cost me a lower grade. She was slow at returning emails and refused to speak online- she would only chat by typing which made things difficult, longer, and confusing. Wasn't clear about assignments & never returned my last email in regards to her contradictions that affected my grade.Dont!

The most challenging part of this class is that it is online. A lot of my confusion in this course came from not having a teacher to detail the requirements for the large projects and assignments. Most assignments seemed scarier than they actually were. She was great at responding to emails and providing help if you need it. She's an honest profess

Extremely helpful and responsive to email. This class has a lot of work and can sometimes be confusing (not her fault, the department's course design has the flaws). I got useful feedback from her and actually learned more in this class than I expected I would.

You are req'd to collaborate with a group of other students in an online setting, which is the bulk of ur grade. I was a bit shaky about this process, but it was not so bad. Just make sure voice your expectations of the project beforehand. There were a few discussions, quizzes, 2 progress reports, & 1 analysis of a style guide. Prof M is nice!

Dr. Moody is a bit scattered brained, more like she has a million classes and things going on so it's hard for her to keep up. She however, is a very nice professor. She is lenient and understanding and willing to work with you. Don't expect immediate feedback or grades. She is approachable and grades fairly.

Cornerstone for IDS majors in the summer is going to be a TON of work. I don't think this has anything to do with Moody, it's just one of those classes. It shocks students (myself included) because you think by the name it will be an easy A. WRONG! I think Moody was great, the course itself was anything but.

Capstone is a demanding, time consuming class, Professor Moody really did a great job of being fair with assignments and caring about her students. I can't see another professor doing better than her, with the coursework that is required. She was one of my favorite professors.

I took this online - and I've taken a LOT of inline courses. Very confusing due dates - and they're posted all over, but none of them coincide with any others. You never know whether something will be in your e-mail or discussion board, posted as an announcement, etc.

Comment:
The instructions for assignments are convoluted and when asking for clarification, it just makes it worse. Students posted daily that they were confused and needed help as well as that they were "still waiting" for return emails with explanations. Due dates changed weekly. Book is horrible and useless. UCF-rethink this class and teacher!

This is the most unorganized course I have ever taken. She has changed assignments, due dates & the grading standards for assignments at the very last minute. The textbook is horrible too. It's unclear & there are more typos than correct words/sentences. Needless to say I am certain that I have learned nothing from this course. Waste of time!

Comment:
The assignments are unclear and there have been times where multiple assignments overlap. Even when asking for clarity she tried to explain it in an even more convoluted manner and said " is that as clear as mud :) ? " She comes across as snarky because she's trying to cover up the fact that she's a failure as a teacher.
