Professor Rogus is the sweetest lady. She cares about her students & about them doing well. She can be hard on students sometimes, but it's just because she cares. If you try, you'll pass.

Comment:

Mary Rogus is the sweetest lady and loves what she does. She gives good feedback and as long as you try then you're going to pass the class. She will look at drafts in 3200 or in Newswatch @ Noon she will look over your scripts and help you fix them. Overall, one of the greatest ladies I have ever met!

Comment:

Absolutely love Prof. Rogus. The class was difficult and a lot of work, but she really makes it fun and accessible to news & info kids. I'm going into print, not broadcast, but I was super proud of the work I ended up with in her class and she was a huge motivator for that. She has great stories, a lot of experience and is the sweetest woman ever.

She is about as hard to please as it is to get around her in such a small classroom. She's a bore, and she hands you 2 detailed assignments at a time without explaining their differences. She doesn't use BlackBoard, and she's slow to respond on email. I hated her class. Bad choice all the way around.

A really nice and energetic lady. the assignments are a little rushed, and she doesn't explain things very well. Pop Quizzes are HARD!!

Comment:

For a class that is tons of work and only 4 credit hours (458/MidDay) I've learned more from Mary than any other professor in my 4 years at OU. In 455 she tells you anythiong you want to know about the business and how to get jobs, etc. We all just sat and chatted, and learned so much- we even took turns bringing in snacks. She's a great prof.

Very enthusiastic and has lots of experience to share.. I learned a lot in this, more than I expected. Mary knows the business and teaches very real world stuff.
