This has to be THE WORST professor Rowan University could have ever hired. I took her for structures II and she gave out 3 pointless projects and was unclear with directions on how to complete them. Her tests are hard because she doesn't feel the need to explain or answer questions in class. You are most likely going to fail if u don't get a tutor

Doesn't help at all. You may feel confident in the exam but if you don't answer word for word the way she expects it, you get points taken off. During class, she'll go to "explain" a problem and then erase is 2-3 times before she even knows what she's doing. She talks down to students and it won't matter who is around. Want an A? Pick someone else

Professor Caldwell doesn't seem to work with you very much. She doesn't understand that everyone isn't a genius in math. The only good thing is the reviews she has prior to tests. The class is difficult.

This lady is all class! What a great educator, she made the workshop worthwhile all by herself. Valuable insight, knows current topics cold. I really can't say enough about her. If you have the opportunity to take any kind of class with her, do it!

Terrible teacher. Must perform perfectly on the exams to get a solid A. Expects lots of hw and participation but only counts it against you instead of having it as a grade booster. Doesn't explain material well and complicates things. This class should be simple but she makes it far from that.

Think's she's gods gift to math. She only gives 3 tests, and those are your whole grade. She is TERRIBLE at explaining the material, and will only confuse you. She marks off points on tests for every little thing. She goes way too fast, and barely explains the material. This should be an enjoyable math class for elem ed majors, but it isn't.

Professor Caldwell is my favorite professor at Rowan. When i first saw some of the ratings I was worried to take her, however, she proved me wrong. She taught me so much and made sure I understood the material. I recommend any education major to take her!!!!

Comment:

Prof Caldwell isn't given enough credit for what she does. She has a boring subject to teach but she does a good job at keeping everyone from dying. She lets us out early, gives the easiest quizzes, which can be taken with partners...aka guaranteed A...and she gives the littlest homework assignments. Already taking for other classes.

Professor Caldwell was so accomodating this semester, she was the sweetest teacher and always helpful. Always lets you out early and the homework assIgnments are vey few problems and take no more then 10 min! She is the easiest grader and although there are weekly quizes you are allowed to work with a partner which is awesome! Take Professor C !

She gives you projects on material you haven't learned and expects you to muddle your way through it. Almost every project is a group project - I had to call out of work four times because it was the only time my group could meet. One or two group projects a semester is fine - but 5? Tests are hard and don't resemble class/homework.

extremely frustrating...the class doesn't seem like it should be as hard as she makes it. the projects are time consuming and annoying because she expects you to "figure out" everything on your own before its actually taught. i did not feel she really taught a whole lot in general we're just always doing pointless projects and homework on top of it

Caldwell could make 2+2 into a lot of work and confuse u. She assigns more work that needs to be turned in than anyone, and it is all just busy work. Her tests get worse and worse, so just because you do good on the first one doesnt mean that you will on the others. Assigns choice assignments too and cant get good grade without it. No other teach

basically she drives me insane. the CLASS is easy, but she takes points off on these stupid projects for stupid things. the second test is also really bad. it isn't a "hard test", it's a BAD test. it's not based on homework or on what we actually learned.

Altogether a decent teacher, but always gives work and always has projects to due. Gets some stuff across but is very disorganized making it hard to follow in class. Easy A if you can teach your self though.

Typical math teacher....Smart and nice but unable to convey necessary knowledge needed to be a "good" future math teacher... a true waste of time...thank goodness the program made changes... maybe they will teach something you can use in the future.
