Comment:

I would advise her for anyone who cares about English and is willing to study and try hard. There is reading involved but everything is interesting, nothing is dry. She relates to her students and doesn't charge outrageous amounts for books. She takes into consideration the average amount of money in a college students wallet. The best prof. ever.

Awesome. Incredibly helpful. Probably my favorite prof this year and in my top 5 overall, ever. She is willing to adapt and offers help so often you know you can ask her anything. Simply amazing.

Tests are easy if you're good at memorization. Quizzes are sometimes tricky, but read carefully and you'll be fine. It's boring, but you get out half hour early almost every day!

Janis Holm is the most amazing professor. She is my favorite professor at OU by far. Her women and writing class is enjoyable and very easy. If you do every assignment which are also easy and go to class regularly you will get an A. She is very enthusiastic and extremely encouraging. She is a must have as a professor!!!

Janis is an amazing teacher! Her class isn't very hard and she's funny and willing to help. She's very approachable and only wants what is best for the students. She is, by far, my favorite teacher at OU. Take her class- you'll LOVE her!!!

Comment:

Excellent teacher. She is helpful and friendly. The course is fairly easy and 10% is based on attendance. Subject manner can be slightly boring at times, but the teacher has a sense of humor. Warning you need to spell author names & titles on exams.
