I had Dr. Mayne for two of my classes so far. He is a very tough grader and will tear your work apart but he will write comments on how to change what you messed up. He gives great feedback and he only grades the way he does because he wants his students to get better with their homework. He also wants everyone to participate in class.

He is way too smart to be a teacher. Especially freshmen seminar. He was also my advisor and when I told him I was transferring colleges he threw a fit and said I had wasted his time since I wasn't interested in biology anymore and instead wanted to major in psychology. He needs to be around those with his intelligence.

This man is Brillant and very nice! Unfortunattly he couldn't teach his way out of a cardboard box. He is more than willing to help you, but his explantions of material are convaluted at best and lectures are a nightmare.
