He seems like a pretty decent human being. But the guy has also a Masters in History, so he kinda loves history more than anything else. DO NOT TAKE HIM. DO NOT LOSE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. He ONLY talks about HISTORY.

Someone else said this: "He spends up to 30 minutes per class talking about irrelevant history topics, and the rest of the time he teaches to the highest performers." It is accurate. Only take this professor if you are already good at math and know the material for the class. You will not learn if you are struggling.

At 27 years old, I've had my fair share of teachers and he was the worst. If I ask a classmate how he did a problem, he'd put me on the spot. Then I raise your hand to ask instead and he ignored me 3 times. When I am going to school on behalf of my company, you would think he knows that my intentions are to learn something. Waste of time and money.

Extremely poor professor. He uses so much class time talking about trains and Germany. He tries to make it seem like if you do poorly it's your fault. He frames everything as though it is all about your success... it isn't. This guy uses class to socialize with students, then tries to put the blame on you for his inability to teach. Worst prof ever

He is a terrible professor. I came back to CCM for a second degree after graduating from a 4 year college. He is the worst professor I've had during my college career. He spends up to 30 minutes per class talking about irrelevant history topics, and the rest of the time he teaches to the highest performers. Perfect example of why tenure needs to go

Taking this class in your first semester is a bad move. If you aren't used to taking advantage of resources such as extra hours and tutoring, you're in trouble. Jones is extremely hard, but he's fair and always available. He's also the sort of guy you'd like to meet in a coffee shop, as he's seen a lot and he knows a lot.

Prof. Jones avoid that name when signing up for classes. He's obsessed with his youtube channel. I asked him for help and he told me to look it up on his youtube channel. Awful.. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!!

He's a tough grader yes, and he does give a lot of homework. Additionally, this provides a lot of practice for the courses he teaches. Jones is a great professor and is willing to work grounds with you as long as you show that you're putting effort.

Avoid classes w/ Jones. He is just a horrible professor. For the majority of the semester, I barely learned anything from him. I spent the majority of the semester teaching myself, Do not take him. he will be a waste of your money & energy. Avoid him at all costs. Half the class dropped halfway through the semester.

Never take Jones, avoid him trust me. His tests are hard, and he is a tough grader. He doesn't like it when you don't solve problems the way he wants you to, and he will take points off tests for that. I would easily spend 3 or more hours a week just on homework. I had to work very hard just to barely get a B. More than half my class dropped

Not worth taking. He is very unclear and you are honestly wasting your money with him. I actually was not supposed to have him but my original teacher had surgery and was out for the rest of the semester. He always talks about stuff like trains and Germany but can never teach correctly. I went to him so many times out of class and did not learn.

Dr. Jones is a great speaker, but speaks very vocabulary and loves to talk. I didn't really enjoy the class as much as I thought I would. As a communicatons major I'm more interested in film. Didn't think there was no need for tests instead it should've been a midterm essay and a final essay that shows that we as the students understand the topic.

Whatever you do do not take him. He is awful he will teach the class as if you already know the material. When he gives back the test and explains you must fix errors. Once going to his office hours he will do little or no help showing you what you did wrong.

By far the most unhelpful professors I've encountered. He gives way to much work each week to will struggle to get it all done if you have other classes. Worst of all he has no respect for his students he's never in the wrong and he won't hear anything else.

I feel as though he has no respect for anyone who is a student. He is the living example of ' teach once and done.' We're on one subject one class, the day after something completely different. If you go to him for extra help, he'll basically tell you to figure it out on your own.

Don't bother coming to him for help, he'll just tell you to look it up in the textbook or your notes, and even if you still have trouble understanding the material, he'll just tell you what page it's on, after you just read it five times and it didn't make sense. The questions for tests are completely different from what little he taught in class

If you can take another teacher, do so. This professor is very unprofessional and disrespectful to students. He is very unclear in his teaching and his response to you not understanding is that you are clearly not payin enough attention even if you are. If he does explain you are left very confuse. Half of my class dropped after the first test.
