She def lives what she teaches! You watch a lot of films and must write resp pprs on them.Subtitles but very int.Even if you don't like films you will like this class.She is an expert in her field!Fun pres at the end!1st test was hard a lot of term etc but final was analyzing a film and essay-Excellent!STUDY and participate.Nice,Sweet Prof!

If you love having discussions and listening to other people's opinions than this class is just for you. I loved this class and the professor she is very warm and loves hearing from her students. Just go to class and participate. *She lets you order pizza during class.Expect to watch films as well.

She's a cool teacher; she asks a lot out of her students and expects you to be on the ball in that way, but other than that she's a very liberal teacher. She really listens to her students and takes their thoughts into consideration. If you're willing to work hard, I'd suggest taking her.

She's a great professor and extremely intelligent. She's one of those people you could probably run into ten years down the road and she'd remember your name. Some of the reading was dry in the beginning of the course, but it picked up quickly and the papers were usually fun to write. Definitely comes recommended!

An interesting class... she tries to keep the stories intriguing, so they shouldn't bore you to sleep. She compares many books to films and we analyzed Psycho at the end. Definitely an interesting approach that made the class unique from all the other literature courses. I highly recommend Dr. Bottinelli to anyone considering a literature course.

She is probably one of the coolest professors I have ever had. She is really understanding, and pretty easy when it comes to grading as long as she sees you make an effort. There are a bunch of papers, but no tests which is nice. and she cancels class alot for conferences. Shes a great teacher.

BORING...I've never fallen asleep in class at 2 oclock in the afternoon...until now!! She is nice..but that is all that is saving her. Her papers are pointless and you only have like 3 days to prepare them! I would only take her as a last resort.

She is so nice!! Her classes are interesting, a lot of discussions. You only have to write a few papers and they are easy. You pick your topic and she is really fair with grading. Her class is not that bad and she cancels a bunch of classes for conferences. SHE is fair! TAKE HER!!!!!

She's very friendly and personable. Reading for this class was very tedious, but she has to teach this stuff for lit majors; I'm sure she'd rather be teaching something more interesting. I thought she was helpful and approachable. Didn't like the journals though.

I loved her. Very nice and had interesting papers to write. I enjoy English though. If you like English take her, she grades easy and is a very friendly teacher. I see her around campus and she still says hello to me.
