She is unorganized and there are A LOT of reading materials she assigns. But as long as you read them, somewhat participate in class, write the essays in a view that she sees/talks in class, you'll do fine. Easy A in my opinion.

She assigns a lot of readings but i never read them unless i needed to for a paper. Her class is discussion based. She's an easy grader i put no effort and received an A- she can be boring and unorganized but still a good teacher i took her again because she has interesting readings sometimes. she's incredibly boring and attendance is mandatory. just try to pay attention in class sometimes and take notes and you'll do fine. the tests are fairly easy, although she quizzes more on what Ronald Takaki says and thinks instead of actual history.

She's a very nice teacher who is willing to help but whenever I go to her office, she is never there (which is not her fault since it's not during office hour) but I can never go to her office hour. I loved the Sixties! It was extremely interesting. The class, however, did require too much work. Therefore, if you're not interested, drop out. She's very helpful and friendly. I recommend just dropping by her office during office hours to say "hi." She's a great professor.

This has to be the most boring class I have ever taken!! All she does is lecture and show stupid pictures on the overhead. The reading is horrible, I couldn't even get past the first page.

rude professor. someone had to go to the bathroom during her class and she made a big deal about it embarrassing the student. she is boring, and is very selfrighteous, always thinking she is right and there is no way that the student can be right. very cocky and bigheaded. dont take her class!
