Briggs is an AMAZING professor. Great teacher, keeps you into the class like no other professor Ive ever had (and I have one degree from ASU already). That being said, the class is HARD. Do not take it lightly. He tries to help students do well, but its difficult. Lots of people dropped from my class.

HE IS SO FUNNY! Although the first half of the class was painful, when he started teaching the second half I got A's on all of the tests. READ THE NOTES, and memorize them, READ the book if you dont understand the notes, GO TO CLASS and you are guaranteed an A. You have to go to class because sometimes he will say things that are not on the notes.

Material was dull, but he tried his best to keep it interesting. "All or none of the above" option on tests was confusing. A little obsessed with grasslands, but all in all he was a nice guy and was willing to help

This class sucks majorly, Briggs is a good teacher-he doesn't suck but I think even he realizes how much it must suck for those of us who don't care about ecolocy and such. HARD tests, balance of suer easy questions and then difficult concept questions... good luck

The material is not all that exciting, and his tests are fairly difficult, but he kept the course fairly entertaining. He mixes up words a lot.

A little less boring than Collins, but since his course material is all about plants, you can't expect much. He is obsessed with grasslands. His tests are really hard, but a little easier than Collins. Avoid BIO 187 if you can, the class sucks.
