I thoroughly enjoyed his class. He's a very nice, knowledgeable man who has a lot of interesting life experiences. He had just the right amount of energy so I wasn't falling asleep in class. Lots of great activities and assignments. I would definitely recommend taking him for anything.

Professor Searle-White is amazing. I've had him for Abnormal Behavior, FS Family Systems, and as my comp and regular advisor. He's super helpful with class material and life issues. He's a fair grader and you should definitely take any and all of his classes if you can. My absolute favorite person ever.

JSW is the best and most entertaining psych professor I've ever had. His lectures are never boring and he has awesome personal stories for everything that is talked about in class. Exams are tough, but you can get an A if you study the correct way (he will explain how to do this if you ask) He is also extremely helpful during office hours.

Very intelligent and accomplished. Does a lot for the community. However, is not fair with grades. Very biased if you are not a psychology major (i.e. natural science major). More than one student in the class experienced this problem.

SW taught 6-7 of my psych classes; all my favorites since his teaching style is animated yet informative. He's an excellent listerner and his compassion for psychology is contagious! He is, in my opinion, the best in the department.

Excellent teacher with a passion for what he does. SW has seen and done it all; he has a story to go along with every mental disorder out there. The notes you take are very thorough and helpful. You actually LEARN the material. Highly recommended prof.
