Avoid at all costs. Coming from a student that cares about and enjoys learning, you won't benefit from this class. His exams and homework are difficult but don't expect him to give you an understanding of how to do them in lecture. While he might attempt to teach, he doesn't. Often goes on tangents, lectures aren't clear. Forgets things mid sentence

There are a few things you will need in order to pass this class, and with the way he teaches I can't even be sure about that: The book, a Chegg account, YouTube, a box of erasers, and a box of tissues. He teaches into the white board and has inconsistently vague grading guidelines. Good luck, or rather, AVOID his class if he hasn't retired.

He seems to regularly forget what he was saying and goes on a random tangent that is unhelpful and wastes time. plan to learn the content on your own.

After Thermo 1 & Mech Lab 1: Don't waste your time going to his lectures, you will get nothing out of it. Get ready to teach yourself everything, because if you don't, you wont pass. Horrible grader with vague guidelines. I think it is safe to say that he is the worst teacher in the MEE dept. You can tell the man is a genius, but he can't teach.

Never seen a worse grader. Doesn't care about grades. Gives holistic scale at end of year so you could have 60 average across the board and still get an A but it'll kill you in thermo 2. Really a pointless class to take unless your gonna get your own book and rely on youtube for help. like I said worst teacher in engineering department

If you enjoy staring at the back of your professor all class, by all means take this course. He taught the chalkboard more than the actual class. But on the rare occasion he did turn around, he would stand smack dab in front of the notes you are trying to take. Tough class, read the book and you might make sense of his teachings. But probably not

Worst MEE prof I have had. Lectures were gibberish and tests bore little resemblance to the HW. Didn't seem to care that the average grade on the tests was usually in the 50s or 60s.

Nice person but on a constant tangent going in the opposite direction than you are. If you go to get some answers...pack a lunch and stuff.

BORING...Mech Lab I and II are easy as long as you follow the report format provided. However, classes are long and drawn out and STUFF.

He is pretty good for HVAC, but Mech Lab with him is painfully boring and confusing. Sleeping through his lectures it not uncommon. He is a nice person, though, and is easy to talk to.
