The class is very fast paced, but if you take good notes and actually listen, the tests aren't that hard. Powerpoints are on blackboard, but you have to take notes about them to understand them. Also, read the book as a follow-up. Not a blowoff class like I'd hoped.

Comment:

She becomes excited talking about Art History and wants you to get everything out of it as you can! I found it fascinating! Open note/neighbor quizzes, midterm, comprehensive final, and two projects. She provides study guides and study sessions. Responds quickly to e-mails and is all around helpful. Put in the effort and you'll do fine!

GREAT PROFESSOR!!! I was borderline with my grade, and she helped me out. She was great about responding to e-mails and explaining assignments. Art appreciation is not an easy class, so don't go in thinking it will be a breeze. You do have to put in effort. But she is great and will help you in everyway.

she is a very good teacher, some of the assignments are a little over the top, like going to all of the museums, but it is mostly a very easy class. very willing to help and explains things very clearly, if you can get her you should take this class.
