Comment:

Mr. Grossman clearly loves what he teaches but I struggled engaging with the topic like many of my classmates. Be prepared to sit through the entire class and make sure you're there. If you leave for more than 10 mins, he talks a half letter grade off. If you miss two classes, he talks a half letter grade off. If you use a cell phone, same thing.

Comment:

Prof. Karl Grossman is a real gem. He introduced us to environmental factors that were thought provoking and intriguing. We watched documentaries about environmental racism, and luminaries within the environmental community. 2 tests (midterm & final) all on what we watched and 4 papers throughout the semester. Great professor!

Grossman is a great professor and his class is so easy. If you need an internship, he's the man to go to. He's very knowledgeable as well and knows what he's talking about

I had this professor for two classes he is an easy proffesor if you make yourself known with him and build a relationship with him it will be good on your grade just show up and do well on the papers he says hes strict on being on time but he's not only for the first two weeks. Great professor very helpful as well

Karl Grossman is one of those teachers you carry with you forever. I only studied with him for two semesters but I admired his integrity immensely. He was patient and kind with students from all backgrounds and abilities. Truly inspirational man.

I had Karl for two classes and my internship! He is one of my top five favorite professors at Old Westbury He would either be number one or number two. He helped me to get my job and he's always supported me and provided a shoulder to lean on! Anybody who gives him a negitive rating is CRAZY!!
