Forewarning, I'm bias because I absolutely loved this class! Dr. Krummel is literally amazing. She really cares about her students and engages them as much as she can. She is enthusiastic about what she is teaching, and it makes class so much more fun. Sometimes she goes on tangents related to the material, but I found them all very interesting.

Im an ENG major so I am a little bias but I love Prof. Krummel. She made me appreciate/care about topics I really didnt care about before. She genuinely cares about the work you turn in & is super passionate about what she teaches. If you're willing to put in some work (nothing crazy tbh) you will do well. She likes classes that laugh at her jokes

Dr. Krummel is an amazing person and you will definitely leave her class with more knowledge on the world as a whole. If you put effort into her class, she will put effort into helping you revise your papers. She is sometimes confusing on what she wants on the papers, but it's mainly because she doesn't want to limit anyone as a writer.

Comment:
One of the most confusing professors in terms of expectations, assignments, what is required and what is extra credit, attendance policy... gets off task all the time and is rather unprofessional. I do not question her intelligence or research on the topics she teaches but her execution as a professor is extremely unprofessional. Tough.

Professor Krummel is such a confusing professor. She would get off topic in every class and it was never clear what she wanted for our papers. I never really knew what was going on in that class. But, she's a really caring professor and is always willing to work with you on your writing

This class contains a lot of reading and discussion. Dr. Krummel is interesting to talk to and helpful. She does get off track easily, which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. There were only a few writing assignments. She's not always clear with what she wants and can be tough with grading. I didn't know my grade until the end.

She is a good person. She is genuine and caring of the people in her classes. But she got off topic nearly every class and didn't project what she wanted on papers. Her grading was different, but she doesn't really give out A's. Our class was a pilot, so I wouldn't recommend it, but I can honestly say that I will never forget this class.

I dread entering her class each and every day. She will tell you something and then later skew her words so that following instructions results in being wrong. It is impossible to know whether you've composed a good essay because her grading does not reflect the expectations she articulates in class whatsoever.

Class wasn't too bad. Not happy that she chose sexually explicit readings--this is a Catholic school. Had 3 exams, one project and had NO IDEA what she wanted!

Dr. Krummel is a great professor! Her teaching style takes some getting used to but I think she picks the best literature for the class and really makes it interesting. She also has a good sense of humor. But she does take attendance very seriously and expects a lot out of everyone.

She is not clear with what she wants for papers. The class rarely ever stays on track and when she actually talks about course-related material, she isn't clear. She starts each lesson like she is finishing a conversation we've never had before. She is nice and funny though. I enjoyed hearing her stories... I just never learned anything.

She was great!! At first I didn't really know what to expect, but I learned a lot from the class. She has a great sense of humor. There is some reading, but I didn't find it overwhelming. I would definitely reccomend her :)

She is quite possibly the most unorganized prof. in the English Department. She never really gives a clear explanation of what you should know for the test, her response is usually "Know everything we have talked about in class." Not very helpful in that sense, but she does allow for some revision if it is necessary. I don't recommend her.

Her standards are a little confusing for things. I would work for hours on one paper and get a C and work for 45 minutes on another and get an A. The class wasnt all that exciting but she could be comical at times. She isnt a bad teacher just expect to work hard and forget what you learned in high school about writing. She will make you change.

Nice, but was unclear about her expectations on the papers. She got off topic easily, which made time go by quickly, but very unproductive. She takes attendance seriously, and is more forgiving if you show up and seem interested in what the class is doing. Odd grading system that was more work that it was worth, but overall, it was ok at best.

She has a weird way of grading but lets you revise if you want to. She tends to drift off topic very easily. Very nice woman, never ask about her daughter she will go on forever. Class never got out early because she talks so much. Text book is not necessary at all. Very helpful outside of class. She loves writing and is so enthusiastic.
