Very very difficult teacher. I always felt I have the best speeches in my class and would somehow find I get barely a B on the speech. She isnt clear in what she wants, shes arrogant, and expects way way too much from people who are in what's just an introductory speech course. Half my class dropped if that helps you understand.

Never hated a teacher more than i hated her. Very hard to get along with and seems as if she doesnt want her students to succeed. Is not flexible if something comes up. Dont waste your time on this class with her.

Kay's standards are way too high. The only way you can remotely do well in this class is if you go above and beyond. Way too unreasonable, and pretty rude too. Definitely would not recommend taking any of her classes!

I took her 2 week speech 101 class and dreaded it every day. She was nice if you were nice to her. Very blunt; if you have a soft personality, don't take her classes. Graded very particularly, high standards.

I have never had a teacher be so rude to everyone right off the bat. Makes fun of students in class. Also not only does she not clearly state what assignments are do for tomorrow, she also doesn't really explain what she wants from those assignments in the first place. Just a super aggravating and confusing class.

I have never hated a teacher as much as I hate her. She is rude, points out everyone's flaws, wears clothes I wouldn't even dream of wearing! If your a boy good thing for you just flirt a bit and you get an A. She is rude, grades way to hard for a class that is supposed to help us get over the fear of speaking in front of others!!!

I really struggled in this class. I figured our speeches would be graded upon improving through out the course, as I did, but was not graded accordingly. I heard from another student who had Kay for speech and they said that no one in their class had passed. No one in this world wants to have to re take this class and that's what I have to do.

A great teacher once you get to know her. I know she can be intimidating at first, but she means well. Give her a chance. She has AMAZING style and really stands out in a positive and unique way. The class itself is hard, but its not the teachers fault, its the material. You cant expect an oral comm class to be fun and easy!! LOL

She is absolutely horible. This speech class is way easier at a 4 year university. She makes you go above and beyond on stupid tasks and your speeches can't use any internet sources unless you answer a bunch of questions and verify each one with her. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
