Comment:

VERY sweet, funny woman but not the best teacher. She isn't very good at lecturing because she rambles a little, but she gives study guides for the tests and lets you use hand-written notes on them a lot. It's an easy A but hard to make yourself go to class when she isn't teaching you anything. You also HAVE to read the book to understand concepts.

Kay Murnan is completely unorganized and unprepared to be running a class, especially online. Her assignments each carry a lot of weight, and you can never be sure when they are actually due. She does not answer questions very well, and was practically no help. She does not keep up on her grading so it's hard to tell how you're doing in the class.

Great teacher. Be prepared to read your chapters BEFORE class- there are prereading quizzes. She tends to get off topic but class is fun and there are lots of in class group assignments. She is such a sweet lady and goes out of her way to help you. She knows what she is talking about. If you are willing to learn, she is willing to teach you.

Avoid this class at all costs!The teacher is horrible at presenting notes and giving lectures, often at times forgetting her point. The tests will not cover what is discussed in class, some questions are not even from the chapter you've been studying. The teacher acts oblivious to this problem and often compensates by giving a lot of extra credit.

I would not take her again! If you are a auditory learner then you'll do good. Her notes suck, she puts a word or two and then talks about it! She does not follow the book what so ever. She does do study guides and sometime we can use our hand written notes on the test!So if you are an auditory learner take your chance, if not take someone else!

This professor puts her own political agenda before the course, she is extremely biased, she rambles about stuff that has nothing to do with the chapter that the class is supposed to be covering, she gips you on your grades(seriously), and she is really RUDE!!!!

I loved this class. Kay makes a very boring subject seem interesting. She is extremely helpful and will let you use your notes on parts of the exam. She seems to be quite knowledgable about politics, and her experience really adds a different dimension to the course.

Great class to take in the summer session,gives out assignments with plenty of time to get them done and is very liberal with her grading. Loved her class
