LOVED DEL! She is one of the best teachers here at PSU. She is always there to help improve your grade. But, she makes you work really hard for it! She will make you a better writer. Always re-write your papers! Hard grader but put in the effort and you will get a good grade.

Del is the best professor I've had so far at Penn State. She is helpful, clear, and will do whatever she can to help you improve if you ask. Go to her office hours, ask questions, get her to help you. My first few grades in her class were low B's and by the end of the semester I was getting A's. She really helped me improve. Take her!!

Best prof I had freshman year, hands down. She is extremely helpful and will make english interesting even if you hate it. Great assignments; she really teaches you how to think and write. Somewhat of a tough grader, but not unfair. If you do the work, you'll easily get an A or B

She's awesome! I've always hated English, but she makes you really want to be a better writer. Really in touch with her students and goes out of her way to help you! Tough grader on papers, but you can bring it up with homework and portfolio grades. You really learn alot and have fun doing it.

Bright was out for the first three weeks of my class. Best three weeks of my life. Her critique was often vague and easily misinterpreted. I cannot reccomend her to anyone. Try to get Diana Gruendler as an English teacher instead.
