Professor Bigel is an exceptionally brilliant in his expertise and keeps his classroom open for questions and discussion (as long as you use common sense). His test are extremely tough as they are short answers and the test have few questions. he will also ask questions on any little detail that may have been discussed. Get on his good side!

Dr. Bigel really cares about finance. He wrote the textbook and the tests are based strictly on it. If you study it well, you'll do fine. Tests consist entirely of short answers, so they're a bit more difficult.

Prof Bigel is a funny guy--he cares about his students and wants you to do well. Study hard and if you don't understand something then he is always willing to meet. Can be funny in class at times and makes the lectures interesting. You'll actuallty learn something

He knows finance cold. He cares alot and is willing to help students. However, the course material is hard and as a result his tests are hard. That being said, if oyu keep on top of the class you learn a tremendous ammount. This is one of the few classes I felt I gained from.

extremely unclear lectures. He is very smart but incapable of conveying ideas to students. Uses his own horribble notes as a textbook. i have taken out textbooks from the library to study for his class. and the mesorah is no longer applicable because of his own book now. stay away!!
