There was literally no point in coming to class, all we did was discuss what we read and that's all. All work was done through canvas and sometimes it was a lot if you're someone who takes a lot of classes. I hated that sometimes we only had like 2 days to do an assignment and if you didn't do it, it was locked so there wasn't a way to make it up.

Comment:

A lot of busywork (150 assignments every 15 days) but it's mostly easy like fill in the blank, listen and repeat, etc. The access code of 180$ for an intro spanish course is really expensive though, could have easily created a similar course by himself on canvas, which he only used for pointless discussions most students didn't even do anyway.

If you're a slacker, don't take this class. It requires TONS of time and work. About 150 assignments due every month. It's a lot, but it's very doable. Homework is 90% of your grade so just pay attention and do the homework and you will get an A!

Professor Camacho is great. He is always motivating every student to succeed. We talk about different topics, especially current events and discuss literature. I highly recommend professor Camacho. See you next semester!!

The best teacher I have ever had. He is very helpful, gives good feedback, always listens and cares for his students and most of all he explains things very well until you understand what you are learning. He always goes over the homework and he never docks points off for late homework. BEST PROFESSOR EVER! I took him for 3A, 4A and 5.

Let me clarify that this is for his Elementary Spanish Summer '17 course. Intense coursework was expected but there were several things I found extremely wrong with this professor: He was unhelpful, when e-mailing him he responds in few words, he does not specify or clarify his role as a teacher meaning he does nothing to be a good (decent) teacher

One of the best professors I have ever had. He is down to earth and funny. Being in his class is enjoyable, entertaining, tells great stories, and shows movies. The class is easy and you learn so much. The most valuable thing he has taught me is the importance of speaking spanish.

I took this class onile and it was easy. It was a lot of work and there were quizzes at the end of each chapter. You just have to keep up, if you take this class over the summer. The teacher was really helpful if you asked him questions regarding mistakes made on quizzes and he'll fix it right away.

If you speak Spanish this class will probably be a good fit for you. He gives a lot of work and it was hard to keep up with my other classes so I had to drop this one. You must complete 150-230 assignments every 2 weeks and each week it gets harder and harder. Instructions for the online work is not very clear. I was constantly asking him for help.

Extremely easy. Honestly you must be kind of stupid to not pass his class. If you give it 1% effort you'll pass to say the least. He is a funny guy and most importantly he's the kind of teacher that will allow students to turn in all the work at the end of the semester just to give you a chance to pass his class. It's easy and straight forward. )

Around 150 assignments and gives 2 weeks to do them. Quizzes and tests are due EVERY OTHER FRIDAY by 6PM! if you work, you better make arrangements because he does not care about your schedule. I have never had an online class with assignments due during the week. He even kept the quizzes and tests due during spring break! would never take again.

Took it online, overall a basic teacher that was there to answer questions. The only negative experience: When the course was over and I checked my grade I had an F ! when I was expecting an A based on how the course website graded my work. Contacted him about it and he corrected it but still waiting for it to show on my transcript...

Love the course lots of writing but interesting, must be fluent because everything is in spanish. We got to go see several plays at theatre and very interesting, I recomended his class, great teacher. Keeps class interesting and fun. My writing has improved alot since I took his class. Camacho is a cool and friendly professor.

He is great must know some spanish , lots of reading but he makes it insteresting lots of fee back with peers and films are educational about other cultures with in Latin America. Mr. Camacho is absolutely one of the best professors Delta College has. I would recommend anyone interested in learning spanish to take his class. Cant say enough about him. Love him!
