I saw him once on the first day of lab and that was it, he lets his TA's run the class. Just show up and ask as many questions as you can so that you know exactly what to write about in the lab report. He said that he was going to look at our lab notebooks and grade them but then never did, so the lab notebook grade is basically attendance.

Good instructor and gives plenty of in-class time to complete homework. Not much of a lecturer but is highly available to his students and a very REASONABLE professor. The flipped classroom learning went well and I'm sure it will only get better moving forward.

Professor Hayes leaves the students to learn every concept themselves. His exams are nothing like his study guides. Leaving you to guess oh exams and feel confused all semester. He never goes over the exams. Worst professor i've ever had. Take chemistry with someone else for sure

This teacher leaves class 30 minutes before it's over to leave you with the teachers assistant. He cancels lectures and doesn't give any direction on what to expect for exams. The class hasn't learned one thing. Do not take him for upper level chemistry. His homework keys are pictures of old analytical chem books. Of which he cannot explain.

He's a good teacher. His tests are some what difficult. He's very fair about grading and if you follow his lectures and the book it all works out.

He was one of two teachers in this class. I only went to lecture when he was teaching. I think he was nervous at first, but then his lectures were amazing!! His tests resembled what was taught in class. Take him avoid Buseck!!!

This class was crazy. I learned everything from my TA. Lecture was useless and taught me nothing. Tests did not reflect what we learned. The only way I passed was the curve.
