He's a cool guy. Shouldn't be a professor, though. He stressed a few really important and interesting concepts, which I liked. He gave a lot of random busy work and papers, though, plus quizzes and a final, which was worded really vaguely- so it was dumb. His grading scale is ridiculous, too; you need a 97 to get an A. A 92 is a B to him.

Marty Baker was my contact at Elon before deciding to attend. Within the hour, I not only wanted to go to Elon, I wanted to absorb every bit of information I could from him. He was such a great teacher- interactive and thorough.

I Love marty baker. he made my monday/wed/friday brighter. Funny guy, says the wildest stuff. Let us get hands on experience and would help you out if you needed it. Don't piss him off though. Overall a great teacher with lots of experiences to share to make class memorable

marty is insane. don't buy the book, you'll never open it. he is funny, quirky and inappropriate at all times. the work is a joke, and the journals are a good way to learn how to read research articles and that only lasts for a month. tests are harder than he portrays, but not impossible. collects typed notes. knows how to kick desks.

He explains things in simple terms which really helps you. The class tends to get off focus but he has a really srtuctured learning plan. Good class and I am not even an Athletic Training major.

awesome class. learned a bunch of stuff, esp toward the end, and it was sooo fun! always jokes around with us in class, but still gets the teaching done! only a few pop quizzes and like 2 announced ones. simple. and the journals at the beginning suck, but they only last like a month or so.

Baker is a great guy. He's not very demanding in work load. He does have a pop quiz here and there but if you pay attention in class and take notes you'll do fine.
