Sandy is phenomenal professor. U don't need a book for this class she provides you with all study material. She is very well organized and gives tons of extra credit you can get over 100% in her class. If you need an anatomy refresher course before taking MCAT or DAT this would be the class to take. I would definitely take this class again.

She is very experienced, and yet she is very hard. she speaks fast for her lectures and does not offer copies for her power points also she takes points off for punctuation on her essay questions. Students design their own flow sheets for exams. Was not helpful with concepts for me; however, she does offer extra credit.

Awesome teacher with lots of personal experience. Works hard to make sure you remember. Her tests are hard. Not good with questions during lectures, I suggest writing them down and asking after class if it's not already answered. It is a hard class, be prepared to work no matter which teacher you get. Sandy clearly wants you to do well.

Sandy is fantastic. You can't slack off and should never miss class but you will come out a better clinician and will actually REMEMBER what she taught you. It's hard but it's A&P and Sandy doesn't focus on the tiny details that you'll never need to know like a lot of teachers do. She'll take the time to make sure you understand the material, too.

Engaging lectures, harsh grader. Open to questions OUTSIDE of lecture, but not receptive during lecture. Tests are challenging-- very in depth. Extra credit opportunities available to offset some poor scores.

Sandy is amazing! She teaches in a way that makes you retain the information, not just learn it for a test. She is really helpful and open to asking any questions outside of lecture. Very clear, fun and relates class to real life. I wish every professor taught like this!

I took Sandy's class for Biol 241 and 242 and really enjoyed her as a professor. She's very detailed and relates the information to real-life situations throughout her lectures. Her class involves 6-7 tests, 1 final, and weekly quizzies/labs. Her tests include multiple choices, matching, short answers, clinical questions.

Truly a great professor! This class requires a lot of time and studying, but Elliot-Golden is very organized and clear in her notes and lectures. She is very intelligent with this subject, plus she has experience in healthcare. Overall the course itself is tough, but she makes it very interesting and is extremely helpful.

I really adore Sandy! She's a great teacher. She really cares about her students success inside and outside of class. This isn't an easy class to teach, but she is very clear in her lectures, so students are able to absorb it. I got a 4.0 in her class. Also, attendance is very important!

Sandy is a great teacher. I took her for A&P 2. She cares about her students, is very friendly and knows her stuff. This class curriculum is hard, but she is good at explaining and her notes are well written. Her tests are not that hard as long as you come to class. She will give you questions that will show up on the test. Try and take this class!

These other people are too hard on Sandy. She was great. If you follow her notes to a T and have a decent memory you can 4.0 this class. Hell, I finished most of her tests in less than 20 min. She gave me an awesome recommendation letter and we keep in touch. great professor!!

She was a great teacher, very knowledgeable and proficient in the subject of biology, a lil eccentric, but she kept a positive feeling within the class for wanting to learn and not drift off. Great notes where given by her. I learned a lo from her

Sandy is a nice person, however she is VERY disorganized, unreliable and moody. She is also frequently LATE with almost everything. Does not like to answer questions during lecture either. Lectures to the class by staring at the back wall. Would NOT recommend.

This is an extremely hard class, especially if you have no Biology background. Not a recommeneded summer class. Elliot was so fast paced in her lectures. 3 chapters in a week with a test the following week without even any hints to what was on the test. She treated you like an idiot when asking questions. funny but hard!!!

It is really hard to get an A in this class, so if you need one, don't take Elliott. She doesn't like to answer questions in class and doesn't tell you anything about the tests beforehand. She is also moody and her lecture quality goes up and down depending on her mood. The book is helpful but she gives very detailed notes that you must memorize

She was an extremely thorough teacher, very detail oriented. Tests are hella hard, but biology is hard no matter what. She would occasionally give extra credit opportunities,or maybe a test re-do. She seemed to want her students to do well.
