[HSPH-101] Vorwerk is a very good professor. He knows his stuff and he keeps the class interesting. He?s also got a good sense of humor. He, as a philosophy teacher should, lets the class discussions cover any topics which come up, and he also gets things done. Note: Grade is mainly based (85%) on 4 papers, not traditional exams.

He is a wonderful, warm-hearted person. He is quick to smile and to laugh. He is also quite well-educated and is saddened by error and ignorance. I enjoyed his class on Plotinus because he used a mixture of student presentations and lectures. Unlike most professors at CUA, he erred by not lecturing enough! Admit ignorance and learn from him.

Dr. Vorwerk lets you know that he is smarter then you and its clear from the entire duration of the class that only the ones who know what they're talking about bother answering. He'll drill you on all your responses and strictly grades the papers. Don't recommend if you're not a Philosophy major.

His accent is so adorable and he is really nice. Talk to him, participate in class, pay attention and dont disrespect him in class (or dont expect to get any respect from him either) and you will be fine. Great guy, great professor. Obviously a very deep, well educated guy who truly beleives what he teaches. Definitley a good guy.

He's a very wise man. He doesn't only know his philosophy but has very strong convictions about life. Because he seems to live what he teaches in class, this professor is no sophist. But only take him if you enjoy philosophy, because if not, you will not appreciate this challenging and fascinating class.
