Comment:

Professor Phillips is the worst teacher I have ever had. She is unapproachable, unkind, and absolutely classless. If you have a knack for science you will be ok in her class, she isn't terrible at explaining (though she dies go off on tangents). However, if you intend to ask questions expect to be berated and then ignored.

The test are hard, but passable. I actually had to really study for her class; pay attention and read the book. I was scared of her at first too but if you go to her office and just talk to her it really helps. She was really nice and even wrote me a letter of recommendation. Just give her a chance. Also, do all the extra credit, it helps.

Yes, she is rude, crazy, plays favorites and uses random analogies in her tests. If you don't go to the lecture and read the book, sorry, you are not passing. I got an A, but I had friends who were practically forced to drop the course. You do learn a lot in the class, and her grading scale is really generous. She also curves A LOT.

THIS PROFESSOR IS HORRIBLE. Do not take her if it's possible! The actual course isn't actually that 'hard' but you really have you understand the material to get a *decent* grade. Which may or may be a bad thing. If you're not science inclined, I suggest NOT taking her. BUT PERSONALITY-WISE SHE IS HORRIBLE. She treats students with no respect.

One of the worst teachers at FIU. Not only was she arrested for public intoxication at one of our games, (subsequently missing class for a week) but she treats any non-athlete like crap. Her tests are extremely difficult and she is no help at all (Unless if you're an athlete). DO NOT TAKE HER AT ANY COST!!!

She's no high school teacher; she isn't goin to hold ur hand thru it all. Its college! Take actual Notes-write what she says not what u see. Read the required readings, do the extra credit assignments, and pay attention. Test q's aren't confusing if u think like she wants u to think. Intelligently. Got a B on all exams except 1. Yea she is a bit rude, but she does know what shes talking about. All you have to do is take good notes and learn the material. The tests seem hard because you apply your knowledge. The book is only helpful in what you may have not gotten good notes in class and the exam reviews aren't helpful. the Key is to take good notes and NOT cram for the tes

Loves her athletes and hates everyone else. She is the definition of female dog. I went to every class and I still ended up with a C because her tests are horrible. Doesnt know how to teach. If you want a chance at passing you have to read all the chapters in the book and I know you dont want to do that if youre not a science major.

She's w.e. I e-mailed her once and yes, she was rude, but honestly it's like a 10th grade level science class. Her tests are easyyyyy. She drops your lowest grade and gives like at least 12 extra points per test if you do the class assignments. all you have to do is go to class and you'll get at least a B.

If i would have known about what a horrible professor she was, then i would have much rather paid 200 dollars and taken it online!!! Honestly, this professor is the worst teacher I have EVER met in my life. She's rude to everyone (unless you're an athlete). Her exams are impossible. The one time she curved, most of the grades are still very low. I wouldn't recommend this professor to ANYONE. You will FAIL.
