This professor is a good professor however his lectures end up with him boasting about himself and his accomplishments. He also puts no grade in blackboard until the end of classes, so you have no idea where you stand in the class. His lectures are okay and its an easy class.

Comment:

Professor Banutu-Gomez is a great inspiration professor. Despite the other responses, I am currently enrolled in his class for Business Policy and I have learned so much. He cares about students gaining knowledge and using what he teaches into effect. I would 100% take him again. He is extremely motivational. There are in class assignments daily.

Professor Gomez is nice and helpful. Its true; he talks a lot about Africa but to my opinion he has been forced to think like this because of the circumstances and behavior of students towards him. He is always helpful before or after the class. I learned a lot from the class. I recommend taking his class. Exams are from the study guide.

I enjoyed his class and I appreciated his willingness to help you to get the best grade you possible can. Use your study guide and get the answer from your book participate in class discussion it will guarantee you a A. A lot of writing but he is fair in his grading. Great teacher and knowledgeable.

Every class he complained over and over how no one was reading. We didn't even use the big book and the small book (his book) was used for the homework. It was such a boring class and I wouldn't be taking him again.

Really nice guy. Talks too much. Doesn't teach from the book, but the tests are directly from the book. The study guide is exactly what is on the tests. 35 page group paper and presentation only counts for 10% of grade! Easy class, just time consuming. Good summer class to take.

I have no idea how this professor earned his PhD. He forces us to read the book he wrote and it doesn't even make sense. Literal quote from his book (pg 123): "Many people in Africa may be implicate wondering, how can logic I express leadership in by a competitive world like we live in Brown in 1996?" Really!?! My dog speaks better English.

This guy is pretty awesome. Have him for an 8AM. Honestly some days he just lectures, but other days he has some pretty funny stories. Very helpful and he wants everybody to do well, so gives study guides for the tests.

Had him twice and loved him! He's easy, just talk in class, let him know who you are and what your opinion is. Oh, and do the papers. He also understands when life gets in the way and you hand in things late. Take him for a good grade!

Great teacher, knows his stuff. He gets extremely boring when he starts his lectures because he reads off the powerpoint slides. His exams are from the study guides (#1 on study sheet is #1 on exam, #2 is #2 and so on). Just speak up in class, let him hear your opinions and thoughts.
