Dr. O'Neill is an overall good professor. Logic is a hard class and honestly, it will either come easily to you or be difficult to get through. If you go to class, read the book, and do your homework there is no way that you can't get a decent grade. He is also pretty funny.

I had him for logic and he was so easy. If you show up and listen then you will be completely fine for the exams. I thought logic was going to be my hardest class but it ended up being one of the easiest classes. He's super nice and really wants his students to do well. I would def take him again and highly recommend taking him for logic

Dr. ONeil is a smart and hilarious guy thats very knowledgeable in his field. The content seems like it would be boring to learn, but he makes it interesting because of his sense of humor and teaching style. And while some stuff may seem hard, hes a very effective teacher and was able to easily teach some of the harder concepts. Highly recommend

Very nice and friendly guy. Attendance isn't mandatory, and most of his lectures are straight out of the book. If you read the book and actually try on the light amount of homework you will do well.

Dr. O'Neill was a great professor, and very humorous. While I never used the textbook, it is still required because all of the homework is linked to the online text book. Sometimes the homework is not reflective of what is learned in class. Otherwise, it was a great class and beware of the first exam.

Dr. O'Neill is a very nice, laid-back professor. He made logic, a potentially confusing class, very straight-forward and clear. Friends that have taken logic with another professor said the course is very confusing, so I'm glad I had O'Neill. Tests and assignments were fair. Also cannot forget to mention his impeccable dad jokes.

Participation wasn't required. Not that tough on grading, but a stickler for thesis statements. His lectures are pretty interesting, he's a typical PHL professor in that he wants you to laugh at his dad jokes. Overall easy to approach and he makes the material digestible, even for someone who is not a philosophy major.

Dr. O'neil was available for office hours and was always glad to talk to you then, but he never did help me that much during that time... The homework is manageable, but then his tests come out of no where and are so difficult. The first test is the easiest and then it goes down hill from there. Definitely not an easy class.

Dr. O'neil is nice, but I feel as though the material was dense. Class was uninteresting and honestly people say its useful but I don't see that. Also his tests are hard and ruined my 4.00. Then again maybe I couldn't studied more. If you are looking to just passively get a Phil Ccore don't take.

O'neil has a great sense of humor. He really wants you to understand the material and likes to see progression and effort in students. His tests are a bit challenging so you need to be reading the text and doing the HW. Otherwise, I recommend.

Awesome professor, one of my favorites at PC! He cares that you actually learn the subject matter and is pretty laid back. If you do the assignments and readings you should have no problem. He does want you to think deeply about things, so if that's a problem maybe steer clear. I'd definitely take him again

GREAT TEACHER! Had him for Logic freshmen year and learned a lot. Homework is online and if you do it you get full credit. Quizzams aren't too bad if you do the reading. He does a lot of in-class review. Very smart, very funny guy. Definately try to take him.

Dr. O'Neil is a great professor! Makes Logic very interesting and worth going to. If you do the work and study, you'll have no trouble doing well. If you are struggling he is more than willing to help. He really cares that you learn the material. He is also quite funny, which brings some levity to the dryer material. Very intelligent guy.

Did not like this guy. Although smart, came across as very arrogant. Tried to be cool and "connect" by making bad puns/jokes. Lectures were boring overall and hating philosophy makes it worse. Hard grader, but you come to expect it from Civ. Pick someone else.
