No one is ambivalent about Dr. Bernstein! He combines experiential with theoretical to provide optimum learning. Midterms and finals are hard, but I aced the National Counselor Exam in large part because of all I learned about group and advanced counseling theories in his class. Take him! It will be one of the best things you ever do for yourself.

Guy is very egotistical. Isn't open to ideas or counseling approaches other than his own. Picks favorites who tent to agree with him. Unfortunately his classes are mandatory. Don't let him get to you.

I loved him. He was great, and he loves class discussions. I think he was the one who made me switch my major to Psychology. Wonderful guy, and a great professor, he knows his stuff.
