Easiest class I have had at UNCW. Gives you practice tests that are identical. Not similar... but identical to the test. Memorize the practice tests and be able to do them in your sleep and you will get a high A every time. Awesome guy, very willing to help, funny, good class.

If you like profs who are super organized, explain the material fantastically, and teach you exactly what you need to know, take Dr. Martin. He is helpful and humorous. Take his practice tests seriously as if you can do them you will ace his tests.

Dr. Martin is the best chemistry prof ever. He's incredibly helpful, his office is always open if you need him. His course pack is so well organized, better than the book. He is genuinely concerned about his students. I would have taken him for every chem. class I needed if he had taught them. Would recommend him to anyone!

Do not take this class during the summer! Taking this class during the summer is like cramming 5 months material into one. It is fairly easy but way too much information to learn in one month.

Ned is the easiest Organic Chemistry professor you will ever get. He will tell you exactly what he expects you to learn and, if you do a little studying ahead of tests, getting As shouldn't be too hard. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

Had a good experience with his class. Study a lot, pay attention in class; do the course packet/practice exams and focus on those syntheses! The syntheses were pretty cool, too.

I took this class over the summer - and I loved it! He is very approachable if you are confused on anything. Study the practice exams! Take his class over the summer - besides, why take a course for months when you can knock it out in a few weeks?!

He knows a lot but cant really teach it, BORING BORING BORING! His test are like the practice tests except he likes to throw a curveball on some of them and he changes to a whole other way of testing for the comprehensive final part and the last information learned part..SUCKS! Nobody really learned

He is probably the best professor you can get for this class. He makes it much easier than people like Almeida who try to fail you. The material is still tough, but the tests are just like the practice tests he gives you, so if you know those you should be fine.
