Wants the best for her students by providing extra credit. The curriculum isn't well taught, be prepared for a little home schooling for yourself. I had to use quizlet for each chapter not knowing exactly what would be asked on the quizzes. The professor isn't very instructive in the classroom and vague on assignments. Be prepared to watch movies.

Very confusing. There was no correlation between the in person classes, the textbook and the quizzes. I recently received an A in a graduate level human development course, but received a below average grade in this class. I am not blaming the teacher; however, it she seemed like she does not care if the students understand the material.

Professor Stewart is a highly educated professor who makes excellent use of her in field experience. She's definitely not going to spoon feed you information so pay attention and read the book. If you find psychology interesting, believe me, you'll come out loving it. Like I said, don't expect her to hold your hand. She's not there for that.

It's important to attend Professor Stewart's class. Her lectures provide a lot of the material used for the assignments given bi-weekly. The test online, however, were somewhat difficult. Your book is required throughout this course in order to pass!

she is the worst teacher i have ever had before. she did not care about teaching; she is kind of racial discrimination. we have to watch movie over half period of time every class. i total agree that she doesn't deserve the assistance of dean position.she even doesn't deserve the name professor. i will told all my friend do not take her class.

She doesn't care about teaching. She wants you to read the textbook and figure the stuff out on your own. She is also the assistant dean of Psychology at Nova. I don't care how much credentials she has to receive that position, she doesn't deserve ahead of teachers like Devers,VanEvery, and Degidio. They are all better than her at teaching. GPAKill

I really like her. I got a B in the class because the online quizzes are pretty tough and they are timed. You HAVE to read the book before you take the quizzes. She is very opinioned and a bit of a hippy, she tends to get off topic in class. I think she is fair, and very nice, she also offers extra credit. I would take her again.

She's an ok teacher. She's a bit annoying. She grades pretty fairly and her course load is not that heavy. Take her course as a hybrid. It's not the best class ever, but it's manageable and not that time consuming. You must read and pay attention to pass online exams. If you don't you're screwed.

AVOID PLEASE, unless you want to work hard for no reason. My friend had a psych prof. that gave out 2 take home exams the whole semester and he got a 98 in the class. This lady took the full 2:45 every class, and she talks mostly about how people who see things are not crazy, just confused... She is not a good professor. AVOID

Prof. Stewart is an awesome teacher! Hers is a class you can't miss, though--skipping lectures will REALLY hurt your grade. If you're willing to actually go to class and pay attention, it's impossible to fail. She's a very engaging teacher and always takes time to explain concepts thoroughly. She also offers extra credit. I definitely recommend her!

Very highly recommend this professor. Classes were interesting and workload was easy to manage. Topics were relevant; she knows her subject area very well, and keeps classes interesting with discussions and presentation materials. Have taken several of her classes. Reading textbooks and materials is highly important but instructions are very clear.

Read the book or you will fail the quizzes. A bit lazy, uses the quizzes designed by the publisher of the textbook and knows the questions are tough so she voluntarily adds points to your final grade. Easy enough.

Laughs at own jokes while class is not amused, speaks slowly for dramatic effect. Not very pleasant, but effective at teaching.
