I believe a lot of the ratings from years back may be from misguided individuals that seemed to expect their hands would be held in college. Pam is incredibly approachable, and wants you to do well and learn; naturally, that involves a little effort on your part, to learn the material and take advantage of opportunities to speak with her. Take her.

I wouldn't agree that she is the easiest professor in the world. I got a B+ and worked my butt off to get it. The tests are simple if you know the information but there is A LOT of information to know. She does try to trick you so know the details. Recommended. But not highly recommended.

Tests aren't too hard but she is incredibly boring. Sections are mandatory for your grade and are a waste of time, which is frustrating. But if you take good notes you'll most likely do well.

tolbert is horrible. the material on the tests is not difficult, but she goes out of her way to try and trick you so you do poorly. she also scheduled a makeup quiz from the beginning of the semester on the day before slope day at 8am, which in my opinion is just mean

Well, she is an expert in OB... which means nothing. She knows what she's trying to talk about but does a terrible job. Class is funny sometimes, thats about the only reason to go. Study the slides and chapter summaries, tests are a joke.

Yes, it's an easy class, and yes, you can do well by just memorizing slides and not going to lecture, but she's still more organized and clear than these comments would imply... She's also very good one on one, if you ever go to office hours.

very unorganized and boring, def get the takenote, textbooks are a complete waste dont buy them use them from the library, if you need help ask your TA. exams consist of memorizing takenote...no one shows up to class disappointing for ILR We Love Martine!

She's a real ditz. Plus, she blurts out wierd examples like "planned parenthood" and talks about sororities and fraternities almost every class. Hmm, I wonder ho, I mean HOW she got to be department head.
